I was impressed by the sheer volume of comics books and assorted merchandise. Everything was eye catching, it's like, where do you even start!! We were driving by and found this place. It's so cute and they have a lot of things. The place is actually really big and has a lot of different sections for all ages. My son is into ninja turtles and he was able to find comic books. They had posters and I have not seen that in a while. Overall great experience and great prices. read more

Found this shop on my way down to Medford. So glad I stopped by! It looked like the place is run by a mother and son. My son and I threw out a bunch of different titles at the mom and she kept up with us! She knew tmnt, Richie Rich, even Usagi Yojinbo! We spent some time talking about usagi - I was telling the owner how I'm from Hawaii and got to meet the creator - apparently their relative is friends with him as well. In addition to comics this place also has a huge game collection. The owner helped my son look at everything and answered all his questions. Interestingly as knowledgeable as he seemed he claimed that he doesn't game at all - fooled me! We did not have time to scratch the surface of this little gem. Left with several comics and a list of games we wanted to check out later. Definitely swing by this place if you are in the neighborhood. read more

What a great place. I have been to many comic stores around the country and this one is simply awesome. The owners Jerry, Nancy and Brett are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, a truly family owned and run business and wonderful to chat with. Brett was very helpful in pointing me to other comic stores up and down Highway 5 in my travels. It was great seeing such a diverse clientele from older (like me, a sliver age collector, both in age and in comics :) to a young toddler in a stroller checking out the action toys to everything in between. I highly recommend "Heroes Haven". The store is well stocked, clean and perfectly set up for browsing or buying. I was able to purchase a wonderful copy of "Harley Quinn" #1 to go along with my Batman #12. I will be back, still trying to find that elusive Flash #105. read more

This is one of the best comic shops I've ever been to. It definitely beats out Emerald Comics in Eugene, OR as it has a very wide selection of single issue, TPBs, Hardcovers, graphic novels, and merchandise all throughout the store. The shop owner is usually there 9/10 times you visit and really makes the place feel welcoming. All of the help is knowledgeable and will help you find whatever you're looking for or at least engage in a great conversation with you. Let me start this off with that I no longer live in roseburg. I currently live in Portland, Oregon which has more comic book shops than any city in the world and Ive been to a good amount of them and never spent money in one. I drive 3 hours monthly to the best comic book shop in at least the northwest. I've never been to a shop that even compares to Heroes Haven. I would reccomend this shop to any comic book fan. They have an extensive catalog of back issues and even Golden Age books for sale at reasonable prices. You won't find a larger store in southern Oregon, or one with a nice staff for that matter. Family owned for over 20 years and never employed by teenage boys like most other comic book shops I have visited. read more

Good place for comics and other nerd paraphernalia. I'm a Whovian and this is pretty much the only place I can get anything without having to order it online. Their prices are relatively comparable once you have to pay for shipping online to get an item. It's a good store that adds some variety in this little town. I just wish they had more Doctor Who items like on thinkgeek.com read more
