This rating of 1 (not good) for today is solely based on my experience at the office today and not…read moreany of my other visits with my child here. Normally, I would give our other visits 5 stars for overall experience, but my experience was different & not good today. When my child was called to the back by Julia the dental assistant my kid started walking to the back and I grabbed my things to go with him and was basically told by the dental assistant Julia that I had to wait in the waiting area for him, so I assumed that she was going to do a quick exray and bring him back out front, which by the way had never happened before; I waited & waited and after so long, I explained to the lady at the front desk and she invited me to go on back. When I got back there, I noticed that my son had gas on and they had already began working on him. I have a huge problem with this!!!! As my son is already super apprehensive about being at a dental office as am I! I should have been allowed to go back with him from start to finish! I explained my concern with Julia because she was the one that prevented me from going back with my son in the 1st place and the dentist was out of the room. Julia seemed unconcerned about my concern. So, when the dentist came in, after greeting him; I explained everything to him....expressing my disdain and he seemed to think that there was a "misunderstanding". In my opinion, there was NO misunderstanding! I was not granted access to accompany my son, and that was unacceptable and should never happen with a parent or whomever brings the child/children to the office! I am not sure why this happened, but I just wanted to share my experience & I pray that it never happens again to anyone else.

This office does a great job with kids, today was especially good for my eldest. He has Down…read moresyndrome and is very distrusting of medical professionals in general. His hygienist today was Miss Chastity and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. She was exceptionally gentle, calm, and patient with my son. She had a great demeanor with him and kept an even steady tone while explaining to him what she would be doing and showing him the different implements she would be using. When he made it clear he had had enough of a particular event (flossing for instance) she said "okay we are all done with that, now let's do something else". And if she could come back to it later she would and if not, well that is better than further traumatizing him and making him that much more fearful of medical professionals. Miss Chastity was excellent!! Everyone else was great too but Miss Chastity deserves special recognition for how she treated my son today.

Let's get right to the point. Dental hygienist Chastity. She is amazing. My son has developmental…read moredelays and he is terrified of doctors, white coats, procedures...anything doctor related. Too much medical trauma in his life. He will not and I mean WILL NOT lie flat on his back for any medical professional. He has been held down too many times in his life. Well, he walked back with Miss Chastity, got right on the table, and got right onto his back for her. Um, what?! Then she was AMAZING with him, earning his trust, going slow and gentle, talking TO HIM rather than at him or sternly commanding him or talking to us parents as if he weren't there. That's the usual. But not Miss Chastity. She spoke to him kindly, softly, descriptively, treating him like a human and one with thoughts and feelings (which of course he is!) She took her time and made sure he felt safe, listened to, and respected. And he ended up receiving the most thorough dental cleaning he's had in his life. He allowed her to floss his teeth!!!! A first!!!! (I will also add that all of this follows a not-great visit for him last time with a hygienist who was much less patient). All in all, this place is really good with kids. But I'll be honest, this 5-star review is all about Chastity. I hope we have her again in future visits!! And Chastity, if you ever read this - thank you. You have no idea how happy you made two parents who go into these appointments with dread knowing how traumatizing they are for our son.

INVISALIGN!!! I went to this dentist for the first time in June. It was my first time seeing a…read moredentist in a few years for a few different INVISALIGN!!! reasons, ex: anxiety, covide, personal life, etc. I met with the first woman who did my cleaning INVISALIGN!!! and she was great. Then I got to meet the dentist INVISALIGN!!! himself. He immediately started trying to sell me INVISALIGN!!! and would bring it up constantly. I have never once had a dentist in my life hint I needed braces, and he told me if I didn't get invisalign, I would have bad jaw issues in the future. INVISALIGN!!! Fast forward to the beginning of September, when I'm told I have 6 cavities(more on that later) that need to be filled. I've never had 6 cavities in my entire life, but I chalked it up to not being to the dentist in some time. We did the fillings, and WOW!! turns out there's only 2 now?! And because he told me that to my face, and didn't just drill anyways, he's an honest dentist! (his words, literally) INVISALIGN!!! and I was actually asked about 5 times before, during, and after the procedure (while also watching an ad for invisalign because there's a tv in every exam room with it playing, angled over the chair) if I had considered it anymore. I had to go back 2 more times, as I started having pain when chewing on the teeth they had just done the fillings on. SHARP pain when biting down on something hard, but the concern was in how when biting soft things, there was pressure at first, and then a LOT when letting up. There was no pain, whatsoever, before. INVISALIGN!!! They polished the teeth (to a point where they are so sharp, that a second dentist was concerned when looking, and offered to help smooth them out today), asked me about INVISALIGN!!! and sent me on my way. At this point, I'm worn INVISALIGN, beat INVISALIGN, and tired INVISALIGN. I agree to invisalign, with the understanding I'm going to talk to a single person who works at the dentist office about what all it is. Nothing. The doctor just walked out after I said yes. I got 3 different calls, from 3 different receptionist, who called to tell me the pricing structure. Every single time I said, "I am not concerned about the cost, as much as I am about what's about to happen. What is the procedure, what do I need to do, what changes, anything." Each time, they would say, "I'll have to doctor reach out." And then another call about pricing. I called, and while up there, asked at least 6 different times, to the Doctors face, and to the people working with him, for ANYTHING on invisalign. Silence. (You'll notice I'm not screaming invisalign anymore, much like the doctor who is trying to keep it a secret from it appears) It came to the day of the appointment, and noone had told me a thing. I had done a ton of research myself at that point (really though doctors hated the arm chair doctor patients who do that, so I was hoping the professional would give me the info), and it was clear that I - A) did not need invisalign whatsoever, and B) this guy is literally just trying to get his tier moved up by any means necessary. I called Monday morning at 8:15am, and cancelled my appointment by leaving a voicemail, since noone picked up. 2 hours later, they're calling back asking where I am, because noone checked the voicemail. This all culminates today, when I went to a real dentist, who I exchanged more words with in my one meeting, than I've had spoken to me by every person in this office in all 4 meetins. After a quick exam, and looking at the teeth they had worked on, they noted a few things - A) the fillings are so sharp, and so low after the extra polishing, there's no way for them to make contact anymore, and are worried they may cut my tongue, and the kicker B) My tooth is cracked, and I need to get a crown. Oh, the dentist today also told me no, I do not need invisalign, and my teeth are perfectly straight besides a small gap in the front, that is literally just cosmetic. The molars in the back are all straight, not pushing into eachother, and everything looks great from a alignmnet standpoint. He tried to upsale me from the second I walked in the door, til he got the yes, and then broke my tooth. Do yourself a favor, and hit yourself in the mouth with a pipe, before going here. My teeth have never hurt in my 35 years of living, until I walked into this god forsaken place.

Too bad there's no option for "no star". The staff that cleaned my teeth earlier in the year were…read moregreat. Not so impressed with the dentist who filled a tooth. I still have to be careful chewing on it. The last straw, however, is a " no show" on their part yesterday. The appointment had been made last month. AFD called and texted several times to confirm that I would be there. So why did I get there 15 minutes before my appointment time to find the door locked and office closed? It was 3:45. Their office supposedly closes at 5 pm. I called and spoke with Callie in scheduling. She was super nice but had no clue why the office was closed. No one else has reached out to offer an apology or explanation.
