Our cat Annie has lymphoma cancer and we wanted a second opinion on how to deal with the situation. After receiving the bad news, it's beyond sadness, but we want to provide as much care and love as possible for the sick cat. Dr. Halpern is a gentle professional animal doctor who understands my feelings and how sad I am now. Annie's and my quality of life also count in this. He wanted to know how much we would invest to keep Annie alive. On my first visit, I focused on Annie and paid little attention to the conversation. Hubby did most of the talking with the doctor. Tyler, Dr. Halper's assistant at the time, was a big help. He took care of Annie from the moment he took her into the room, removed her from the carrier, held her for Dr. Halper to examine, and then put her back safely into her carrier. Both Doctor and assistant gave Annie a nice pet. We had another assistant, Kiara(?) the second time we brought Annie here, and she, too, handled Annie with so much compassion. This place offers a lot of love and affordable bills. The big hospital, AMC in the city offers a lot of fees with less compassion. It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Halpern, his assistant, and the entire staff at Quality Veterinary. My life was turned upside down when I heard the bad news about Annie, but I have slowly recovered since then. His suggestion to give Annie daily IV fluid on top of daily medication is one of the best ideas! AMC only offers the med. Although Annie doesn't have much time left, she is now back doing her routine as she was living before the hospital visit. We're providing her with so much love and joy and we can't thank Dr. Halpern and this place enough. I highly recommend Dr. Halpern and the place to examine your furry babies! Thank you!

The next day after the wedding I picked her up and when the staff brought her out to me she trotted out and had a big smile on her face. I was so happy she did so well. We told them that he needs to be taken care of right away. They assured us that they know that Frenchies have difficulty breathing and would call us as soon as they were done. A call never came. We went to pick him up and they said that he was just about done. Our dog came out GASPING FOR AIR and STRUGGLING TO BREATHE. We questioned his condition and they said that "he was fine a minute ago". Our dog layed on the floor and proceed to throw up and continued struggling to breath. They had the name and address of an animal hospital near by, ready to give us. They were prepared for this. We rushed him to the hospitall where he continued to throw up. We arrived at the hospital and they told us that his lips were purple and he would have died if he arrived a few minutes later. They had to extubate him and gave him a series of medications as well as as a cooling jacket and ice baths to bring his temperature down. It was 103.8. We came to learn that the owner has now retired and moved to Florida and left her unqualified staff in charge. They put my dog in a cage and put a HOT fan directly blowing on him. He could not BREATHE and had an anxiety attach. We have no idea how long he was in this cage or how long the fan was blowing, as no on would give us answers. ANIMAL ABUSE!!!! This place needs to closed DOWN!!!!!!!!!

I found Dr Warren when looking for something close to home The office could definitely use some updating, don't let the wood panel walls scare you away! Doctor Warren put my family and I at ease when we found out my dog had been a victim of an awful groomer (he ended up needing to be sedated and required stitches) But the staff and Dr Warren him self would call daily to check on my pup after the procedure, Who's vet does that!!! You can feel free to call the office any time if you have any questions and they happily put you on the phone with the doctor (probably more than my own doctor would do for me ) Just amazing Keep it up Dr Warren !

After discussing treatment options, I initially hesitated to start antibiotics but later agreed when the problem persisted. At that point, I was told I would either need to bring my dog back again or be charged $125 for the medication. I also found the same prescription available through Chewy for $28, but the doctor refused to approve the prescription for an outside pharmacy. After already paying a significant amount for the visit, this felt unreasonable and financially driven. I also felt pressured to agree to additional testing, including X-rays, without clear explanation of necessity. As a pet owner, you trust your veterinarian to guide you honestly--not to feel restricted or upsold when you're already dealing with a stressful situation. Unfortunately, this was not the first time I've felt this way at this practice. I strongly encourage better transparency around pricing, prescription policies, and treatment recommendations so clients can make informed decisions without feeling pressured.

You left for the holiday weekend and provided a hospital in Suffolk County. You did not provide a diagnosis and an actual treatment plan. If you did, email it to me. Perhaps you should not "ramble" in inefficient care with several doctors there, and actually be competent to do your job. I did not pay at Blue Pearl because she was very thin. The CPR would have caused her pain and would not have meant she would live long, or at all, based on your inadequate treatment. And yes, the CPR is expensive. When you go to a veterinarian and see several of them in a "hospital," you expect a thorough diagnosis and treatment. The only responsibility I have is not following my intuition and taking her elsewhere. Yes, I do think veterinarians' often exorbitant bills leading owners to euthanize pets (when they can chip in for patients coming there for years) is immoral. I have more than enough funds for my present cat, but if you paid me millions of dollars, I would not bring her there. I read several reviews where bills were outrageous with no or the wrong diagnosis rendered. To Hernandez: Rather than ramble on talking down to people you think have less money than you do, focus on why after at least $2000 and three veterinarians later, I had nothing close to a definitive diagnosis or treatment. My cat had severe diarrhea with a voracious appetite. Clearly, her capillaries were not absorbing nutrients. from her small intestine. Did you find the etiology? You had blood and stool tests, and at least one ultrasound. Your solution was a duck and venison diet for three months, and go to emergency care [because you are incompetent]. She died before that. You should have been closed years ago after a thorough investigation, and look forward to the day you will be closed. What comes around goes around, and pets are children, so be wary.

I've been to three other vets, checked prices etc and this place showed up for me in terms of kindness, doing extra research and checking in on my boy Zeus. A special shout out to Dr Roy and Dr Thaddeua (sorry if I spelled this wrong). They have been going above and beyond helping my angel Zeus. He couldn't be in better and more capable hands.
