Captain Mike is MAGIC!!…read more This boat ride around Manhattan with Captain Mike was the best way to see the city and all its beauty. Captain Mike was lovely, polite, kind, committed to providing us a 5-star ride!! We saw everything we wanted and more.....We captured great photos and left the boat saying that was the BEST! He shared trivia about the sights; where Sully landed the plane in the Hudson River, the forts and of course the Queen of the Sea, Lady Liberty!! I would highly recommend this boat ride with Captain Mike, you will throughly enjoy it!!

My mom and I had an absolute blast on our boat tour! I booked the 60-minute trip from Chelsea Piers…read morefor our final day in the city. To start, the arrival instructions emailed in advance were accurate and easy to follow and accounted for local construction. Our tour was for us and one couple; Captain Bryant was our captain, and he was an absolute delight. He went through the safety information and told us what to expect from our time on the water as well as some information about our boat before leading us to it right on time. The boat was at the end of the floating docks with a lockable storage container nearby in case anyone wanted to store purses or backpacks. We got a bit of a chuckle once we got on board, because we had never seen seats like this on a boat before! The seats were two across and you sat on one by straddling. Grab bars were at the front. (There aren't any seatbelts!) Captain Bryant told us the seats in the front were the "bounciest", so naturally, that's what we chose. We went slowly out of the marine before -- with a heads up -- our captain got us to what felt like a pretty high speed! My mom and I are both moderate adrenaline junkies and were pretty thrilled. It was a definite rush but never, ever felt unsafe. From there, Captain Bryant alternating between "hitting the gas" and stopping at multiple spots for absolutely stunning views of midtown, downtown, the Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and more. He was super clear, easy to understand, and informative about each stop but never boring. He also took photos (with our own phones) at the stops whenever we wanted, which was very kind. He got us back after the hour -- again, right on time, and we chatted with him a bit about how enjoyable he finds this job. It's clear in the entire experience what a wonderful fit it is for him -- and he is for it. I wouldn't recommend this tour for someone with mobility or balance issues, or someone who would feel exposed and anxious in such a relatively small (but FAST) boat out on the rivers. But for me, it's one of my favorite boat tours I've ever taken anywhere. It was 1000% worth the money (with no upselling!).

We walked around Gowanus, got schooled on graffiti and street art, visited a studio, talked neighborhood history, learned architecture stories past and future, met an artist and her dog on a bridge, found art objects left by another artist to be "gifted to the finder." Loved by kids (8 years) and adults.

It was an hour and a half. The bus arrived and we had to wait another 45 minutes before the bus moved. Don't waste your money. The staff would not answer questions. I asked to speak with the manager and was told they didn't know who the manger was; just another lie.

A few months later after I took his tour, I saw Kenny Kramer at the ballet in Lincoln Center. He loves New York City and the Arts as much as I do! Then you board a bus and play Seinfeld trivia and tour the various sites made famous by the show. Then, you go to the Soupman stand and while in line, Kenny Kramer poses for photos with you. It was such a hoot hearing Kramer tell us about his personal experiences being neighbors and friends with Larry David (real life George). He told us many stories about Larry David, and about real life events that made it onto the tv show. The tour starts out a local theater with a warm-up comedy act and then Kenny Kramer is introduced. He told us about the show, his involvement with the show and how he launched the tour, and then got right on with his entrepreneurial ways, and began pitching his many different products he sells. It was quite funny -- life imitating art! He sells a wide variety of creative gift items and apparel. Our budget was tight so we skipped on that, but he was signing items as well. Then on the bus, Kramer led us around the city showing us many spots featured on the show and real life spots like his apartment building he shared with Larry David. There's also a pit stop at the original Soupman location which the Soup Nazi episode was based on. It's just a soup stand, but boy is the soup marvelous. Kenny Kramer also poses for pictures here! We got an awesome picture with him in front of the place,. He's really nice, and signed our tour pamphlet and posed for photos. He's quite funny too and the anecdotes he shares really make the tour. This is an absolute must for Seinfeld fans!
