I think I spent two hours in this boutique trying on so many items because just when I thought I was done, I would peruse the racks one final round only to find MORE items to take home with me! This was definitely the best store I found during my shopping excursion in Spain. Did some major damage here but it was worth every Euro I spent!

Believe it or not, 2 hours later, I found the wallet in a trash can located across the store. All of the cash was taken. We went back to talk to the manager. Instead of apologizing, he threatened us to keep our mouths shut. We strongly think he works together with these people. Avoid this store. Cos' management should take some immediate action.

This Corte Inglés was recently renovated and expanded to have a fantastic "gastronomic zone" that has multiple areas dedicated to different areas of Spanish gastronomy (bakery, seafood, wines, etc.) bu also has mini-restaurants offering a variety of speciality dishes (i.e. Imanol Vasque pinxos franchise) with sit-down areas. This is a place to experience and enjoy. The rest of the Corte Inglés are literally floors and layers of high-end boutiques and dedicated areas for clothing, bags, shoes, etc. From international luxury brands like Gucci, Prada, Etro, but also Spanish brands like Purificación García, Emilio Tucci, etc.

I am a glutton for punishment…read more I also really want to give it another star, because I think the clothes are very stylish, hip, beautiful, cute, fashion forward, etc....and the quality is better than most of the other women's clothing stores (at this price level) in Spain. The leather products: shoes, boots, purses, belts, accessories, are way cool. The quality is good, but not stellar. You will walk into the store and slowly but surely become overwhelmed by all of the eye candy. Then, you will start to sift around for your size and then you will happily make a b-line for the dressing room. You close the curtain, and that's when the trouble begins. You will try on that blouse or skirt or dress in the size that you've worn your entire adult life but are now realizing that the upper part of that blouse sleeve will start cutting off your circulation within a few minutes and that that waist cut is not going to go up any further than your thighs. It is very disappointing. You flash to the anorexic models on the Hakei website and catalogue, you are reminded of the hungry and unhappy looking girls who work there, and you will realize that the only way you will be able to fit properly into the vast majority of this brand's clothing line is if you cut back to eating half a sandwich and smoking a pack of cigarettes a day. Ok. I may be exaggerating some. In the past year, I've bought numerous pairs of shoes and boots, belts and some blouses. And I am happy with my purchases. But, it's a roll of the dice when it comes to the clothing, really. Unless you are built like a small boy, you are going to be let down many times. What a fun store!…read more Decided to come here last week with my mother when we were in town on vacation. The store is very colorful and full of hundreds of fun and unique items. It took me awhile before I settled on getting a cute t-shirt and a small cosmetic pouch, but if I had the space in my luggage, I would've considered getting more items. I would recommend peeking in here if you happen to be in the Salamanca neighborhood. You may find a cute souvenir to bring back home.
