Upon arrival for wine tasting, we were led to a room to watch a short video to learn about the wine process and wine quality. Afterwards, we had our wine tasting. They gave us about seven samples of their wine. Although I do not drink wine very often, I really enjoyed what they had. They were all very sweet tasting. You could tell the employees were very passionate about the wine they offered. My favorite was the Thomas Six Degree, a breakfast wine, that made my tongue tingly. The Moscato was a close second. The pourer went through the wine bottles extra quick, I felt like I had to chug every glass to keep up with him. After wine tasting, we got to experience stomping grapes. It was hard work and quite cold in the bucket. We then competed to quickly fill a bottle of wine with the juice we generated. Overall, it was a fun, but very short experience at this winery. It took maybe just 40 minutes, but is a nice, small pitstop if you are on your way somewhere. They have a brewery and restaurant next door, so you can grab lunch or dinner after wine tasting. read more
