I showed the only working attendant to the 8-10 kids that were there the labeled meal and two snack pouches in his bag before I had to leave. These were still in the bag when my husband got him home last night. When my husband called to follow up about how this could've happened, this employee lied and told the owner that there were only snacks in his bag - the employee knows this is not true. Maybe this place is okay for older kids, but not for little ones who can't remind anyone they are hungry. When my baby got home, he ate 2 meals and a yogurt he was so hungry.

My son has been there since October 2010, we pulled him out of one of those glorified daycare's, within 2 weeks he was new child, at 24 months he started recognizing his surroundings. He went from the toddler class to the preschool class. He just completed his homework for the night. When I went on line to make sure we would be prepared for where he should be when he gets tested next year to start school. "Everything" that is required - he is currently learning. He still has the "WHOLE SCHOOL YEAR to get better" and he is getting that from his teacher. I love the fact that Mrs. Moore, Mrs. Tosha, and Mrs, Josie love their students, and want to see everyone of them excel. The checklist that comes home with my son, "Progress Report" I go over that with him everyday when I pick him up; he knows he had better have good report. It is called teaching him responsibility. As to the TV; they hardy watch any TV at school. Friday's is movie day, the kids get to bring their favorite movie, it is called reward. This is 2013 and you just stereotyped that learning center. I think that is crazy and you ought to be ashamed of yourself. That's what is wrong with this country now, everyone wants to put 'LABEL"; let me tell you this, LLPC is very diverse, that is what I want my son around, his teacher is fluent in Spanish, she even teaches them words in Spanish, that is now taught in most of the elementary schools. In the beginning my son cried when we would drop him off, but as soon as we were out the door, he was about his school. He is going on 5, there are still some mornings he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, he might cry, it isn't because he doesn't want to be there, or the school is miss treating him, he is just having one of those mornings. On the weekends, my son eats from time he gets up till the time he goes to bed. Ask your pediatrician they are at the growing age, they are grazers, that is what the pediatricians like, so of course he is going to come home and eat. When I pick my son up everyday, I have cup of milk and yogurt. It is just life. The 3 star rating that this school has if very justified. Gina Sparks

I yelled for her to take her hands off my child and she tried to tell me it was a misunderstanding and she was trying to keep her from falling. I spoke with the director the very next day and they didn't even do a real investigation. They said they would ask other teachers about her behavior. The teacher was not fired, reprimanded or even moved out of the classroom. I immediately switched child care centers. I just hope this never happens to another child but there is certainly no guarantee at this place. All I can say is Thank Goodness my baby is somewhere safe and away from people who clearly don't put the children they serve first!

The classroom were so clean and organized and very colorful. We love the welcoming energy we received from every staff from the kitchen staff, the receptionist and the teachers. We were very weary at first because of a horrible experience at a former daycare but after our tour we felt confident that our 15 month old would be properly cared for. In addition, there have been multiple state violations, poor communication, and several incidents that we feel were either undocumented or not appropriately addressed. As parents, the safety and well-being of our children are our highest priorities, and unfortunately, we no longer feel confident that this school can provide a safe and reliable environment. Due to these ongoing concerns, we are actively seeking a different school for our children. Based on our personal experience, I would not recommend this school to other families.
