My wife wanted a coffee but the pit was empty and the expresso machine was off because it blew a breaker that they had to reset. After it was powered back on, it had to take a while to heat back up so we left empty handed. I stopped for a bathroom break after being on the road for hours.

Each morning on my way into or out of work I can stop in and grab a hot fresh sandwich with the addition of a Hot Karuba Coffee. The service at this location is wonderful, they go out of their way to make sure your the focus with the "hello" and "good morning" to all who come in. One time I noticed they were out of a particular "hot" item and they went back into their kitchen and heated up what I was looking for. It was very kind , and it's service like that, that keeps me coming back as a loyal customer. This location is not only full of friendly staff and hot fresh food and coffee, but also is one of the cleanest gas stations around. With the amount of foot traffic it produces all year long puns it truly is amazing they keep this establishment so clean. However...the people who own KwikTrip are major fanatical Christians who are anti-gay, anti-choice and are on the most extreme end of the religious right. I haven't been to Duluth since learning this, and knowing this, I won't be spending my money at KwikTrip next time I'm there.
