She then followed me closely throughout the shop: everything I touched she told me it was so beautiful and fit me so well. I repeated several times to please, let me look in peace, it never worked. She actually had a fight (almost physical) with another seller to decide who I "belonged" to. I don't think it's solely a lack of training, I think it is also a clearly hostile management method. Are those sellers paid if they don't sell enough? Are they all competing for one single position? Benetton, if what you want is good sellers, just hire good sellers, or train them, but don't use the customers as pawns in your sick game.

It's just a regular book store, but something about Orell Fussli is special. Maybe because the books are in German, and it's multiple stories and fun to ride the elevator. Maybe it's because there are nice couches around to sit and read the books, or maybe because there's a Starbucks too so you can have a coffee while you're enjoying your book. I don't know, but I love it. When things were a bit rough a month ago I'd just come here, and everything bad would go away. Orell Fussli is the perfect medicine. :) It's also right in the middle of Zurich. If you're wanting an English book store there's another Orell Fussli English down the street. But I'm so over English books, those were so yesterday. just kidding I've bought a few things from here. The Lion King DVD in German, a German cook book, a calendar, and a few cards. It's really a lovely store. :D

Price was reasonable for a contemporary Swiss made watch as Mondaine. I paid extra for the better face and leather band. All in all a pleasant shopping experience in the main city of Zurich, and this store was among many we visited as it was situated on the long stretch of high end designs as Chanel, Gucci, LV, Rolex, Bulgari, etc. Sure, my hubby got himself a Raymond Weil as well, while there!

I like their selection being good quality brands but not the $10k plus spendy Rolex type offerings. Much more affordable stuff for the average spender. The service here as it is with others was very attentive and they spoke very good English. And I treated myself to a new Tissot watch that needed to go home with me. I will always recommend this chain to others when traveling in Germany.
