The warmth you feel from the decor and the people is tangible. I was also surprised at how great the food is and the variety of menu choices available to the residents at every meal. The Director, Nan Gammill, puts her personal touch on everything and caring for and being kind to the people there seems to be her mission in life. There was a kindness and compassion from the staff to the residents that set it apart from other assisted living communities I have visited. The activities that are available, the theater, the billiards, the quiet areas with water features. I am not ready for assisted living but I wanted to sign up to be honest.

Even if my grandma fell by herself to cause these broken bones, there is no way she could have gotten back up herself. The medical staff either hurt her or did not report an incident of her becoming hurt. If my grandma did not have a loving family to check on her regularly, she would have soon died due to the infections on her legs and broken bones caused by this disgusting nursing home. Good news she has transferred to a new nursing home to receive better care. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!! Disgraceful, disgusting and horrible place.

As he had dementia, it was harder for him, but the staff made him feel welcome. They are a MEMORY care facility, so they cater to the dementia patient's unique needs. The director, assistant director and everyone helping my dad were just phenomenal! The building is small (I got a tour before corona), so it felt more intimate, like he was with his family. I wish we could have experienced the facility without this mess, but I am thankful they took such good care of him!
