This establishment have a some what strict policy when it comes to checking in and bag handling. You need to leave your bags in pickup zone where you get drop off at and walk to the front counter to get check-in and so on. Quite simple and the hospitality is amazing. They have courtesy shuttle and golf carts to take you around especially when you have many luggage to drag around. Their gym room was okay, nothing exciting or amusing. Simple get in and out, definitely suggest that the establishment bump it up a notch, just outdated and not that many equipment to choose from. Love their breakfast buffet every morning. Their choices was definitely worth attending. I have to say, it was an easy transaction when it come to being seated and any order of coffee or juice, they was on point. Anything you requested they are more then happy to assist with the best of their knowledge and availability, outstanding and professional services. While the drive to the resort is fairly simple and the surrounding landscape is plain, everything changes the moment you arrive. Once inside the property is exquisite. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and offered a refreshing Cebu iced tea welcome drink. Check-in was quick and pleasant, and I was pleasantly surprised that my room was upgraded to a Deluxe Garden Room. The Deluxe Garden Room features a garden view, a large king size bed and a spacious open plan bathroom with a sunk-in tub and rain shower. The mini bar is complimentary on the first night and includes Cebu mango treats, orange and mango drinks and classic Filipino beer. There is also a mini coffee machine where one can make cappuccinos and mochas. A stay at the Crimson includes a complimentary breakfast buffet at their Saffron restaurant. I was amazed at the selection the buffet. Not only did they have an abundance of Filipino and Western dishes but there was also a congee and sushi bar. They pastry bar selection ranged from classic Filipino ensaymadas to native Cebu sticky rice. I also was impressed that they had fresh smoothies and juices along with a full coffee bar offering different specialty coffees. This hands down was the best breakfast buffet I experienced during my trip. Equally as impressive is the resort's pool area. Located right next to the beach, it offers breathtaking sunrise views and a serene atmosphere that is perfect for relaxing. One thing worth noting is that the resort rooms are quite far from the main lobby and restaurants, so guests will need to take the resort golf cart service. While walking is an option, it can be a bit of a trek. Thankfully, the golf carts are available 24 hours a day. Overall, I really enjoyed my start at Crimson Resort and Spa. The resort is beautiful, serene and peaceful. It is an ideal escape and perfect spot for a holiday vacation.

Their haircut, pedicure or manicure are only 100 php ($2 usd) each (using local polish(which is stronger and lasts longer, imo)). I've found less expensive but nothing that looked as nice or was a comfortable. This location at J Center Mall is my favorite Wondernails, I think. Leona typically does my pedicure and manicure here and it always looks great! She even remembered I was hesitant about the rose colored stain they put on nails after a service. LoL All and all, you can't beat the price. Sometimes you may have to wait, though, as they can get pretty busy. Definitely see ya there!

I came on a weekday afternoon for a Balayage and mani-pedi. I was immediately assisted by their staff and was later on cut and styled by Francis. He is Singaporean, if im not mistaken, and communicates very well in English. He had such light hands as he cut and snipped here and there. I appreciated that he really took his time to work on me, cutting my hair as meticulously as he could letting me feel like every strand mattered. After the styling, Francis transferred me to Allen who did my hair color. Allen was assisted by Tata who answered his beck and calls. Together they worked on my highlights. Allen did such an amazing job giving me the Caramel Balayage that i asked for! I was very pleased with their work. The products that they used are also of good quality as you will be able to see in their display. My hair looked good, felt good and even smelled good! While I had my hair done, my mani-pedi was also ongoing. Talk about being pampered! I could not, for the life me, remember who assisted, if it was two ladies named Irish and Emma or not. But anyway, they were wonderful. Not chatty which i did not mind at all. Both had light hands and worked on my nails so well. In favt, they have close to 20 massage clinics scattered all over the city. I opted to try Grand Royale Spa because I'm a big fan of their clinic in Cebu (near Capitol). The location is a bit difficult to find since the signage is small and is way up the top of the building. Just look for Qualfon's building and it's just across. It's on the 3rd floor, on top of a coffee in the same building. When you step inside, you'll be welcomed by a rather dark but tastefully decorated reception area. The clinic is decidedly Asian-inspired with huge portrait of a Buddha (or atleast that's what I think that was). There's also a small fountain/pond area just below the Buddha. The receptionist is very friendly. She even gave me a discouny because I went in just before the promo ended. I paid php278.00 instead of php320.00 I was ushered into a smallish room with a massage table. They do have an undergarment/shorts you can change into before the massage starts. They even have a wash basin you can soak your feet into. The masseur I got was very good. Too good. I think he was too eager to get rid of all my "lamig". Overall, I'm very satisfied with the massage and I will definitely be back once I'm in Dumaguete again.

After the long climb up, you will be greeted by the hosts and choose the package you want. Come earlier for a better experience from noisy guests. For US prices, this place was a steal! $20 for a full body, strong (or whatever pressure) Swedish massage for 90 min?! What?! We were also allowed to see the room in which you will stay at which is basically one big dark room that every customer shares and is divided with dark curtains. The massage bed is a soft velvet arm chair that converts to a bed with an opening to place your face in like any regular massage place. Overall, it was a great experience. The process is that they will choose a person for you and the patron will wash your feet upon entering the dark room. Please don't take off your bottom underwear!!! Lay on the bed as they massage your back and front. Calming music plays but yes you can hear people chatting from afar. The workers do not talk unless they need to ask you or their co-workers for anything. They speak Bisaya, Tagalog and English. At the end of your session, don't forget to ask the person who massaged you for their name in case you forget who to tip after paying. Good service means giving some extra money. Cash only. CR available and water/tea. Enjoy!
