Made a reservation. Paid, for the reservation. Showed up to the motel to find that my reservation failed to reserve a room. I thought making a reservation, and paying for the reservation before you show up, meant you are holding, or 'reserving a room'. I thought that meant nobody else can take that room. Unless the a room or two were burnt, then I could see maybe the rooms to reservation ratio to be off. I did an investigation from outside and saw no signs of fire. Which left me very confused. Was I in a Seinfield episode? Apparently Heritage Motel knows how to 'take' a reservation, but they don't know how to 'hold' the reservation, and that is the most important part.
