The physical therapy department is top notch. They care about the patients. We even were part of the Christmas parade in Longview. They constantly encourage and participate in individual recovery. As much help as I needed in the beginning, I never felt as though I was a bother. I plan on continuing to get better and eventually go back as a volunteer. We chose Treviso…read moreafter touring the facility and talking to Abe, who was extremely helpful at that initial meeting. The facility was lovely and had no odor and had a great PT room. Staff was about what you'd expect; some shifts were great and some were not great. He was there 3 weeks when he had a fall. They took him to the ER, where he was checked out and released. Upon returning to Treviso, he was there for a matter of hours when he fell again. This time they called an ambulance, due to the seriousness of the head injury. He went back to the ER and this time was admitted. He was there a couple of days before he passed away in the hospital. My mom and I went back to Treviso that same day and removed his belongings from his room. We received absolutely no contact from Treviso at all. No condolence call, no sympathy card, no email, nothing. Granted, they probably thought we might sue them and they were not saying a word. We were not interested in suing, although you would think they would have kept a close eye on someone who had just returned from the ER due to a fall. I even sent an email to Abe saying it was disappointing to not hear anything from them after my dad's passing. (The hospital had told us that Treviso had been checking in on my dad while he was there, but after he died there was radio silence). But nothing but crickets. So my experience was that they will initially come across as very caring, but that is not the case. I don't blame staff for this; like I said, some were great (we had our favorites) and some were not. But this lack of compassion and humanity falls on Abe and Terry and it just added another level of hurt to a grieving situation. A simple act of respect to a grieving widow was not a lot to expect. And it has definitely had an impact on our experience there.

I would not recommend this company and would NEVER put a family member in this place. I had taken a tour of the place and saw they had open rooms available. I was told my dad was accepted as a patient. The same day he was accepted, I had driven 40 minutes to take my dad to Longview Hill. I was five minutes away and received a called from Cammi C. that she had changed her mind and my father WOULD NOT be accepted as a patient. I was going to pay full private pay--no help from insurance or medicare. Cammi called me a liar as well as the hospice social worker a liar. This is no way to run a business. They seem to say one thing and do another. That shows me that they cannot be trusted. I would not feel comfortable trusting anyone there. They showed their true colors. I am so glad I found this out before my dad was a patient there because who knows what lies I would have been told. I would NOT recommend this place. Not a place you can trust!!!!

The therapists who work with him on mobility. This facility is unbelievable because it felt like home to me not just for my loved one. Every caregiver introduced themselves to me and my family. I never had to chase anyone down. Also want to thank the activities Manager and Mr. MARQUEESE in housekeeping. If i missed anyone please excuse. I live far away and it was hard to get ahold of anyone and no one ever called back. My mom's wedding ring and clothes were stolen while she was there. I think they take advantage when they know a patient has dementia. I asked them several times to call me with updates.progress on my mom and they never did. The staff was rude and pushy. They were supposed to be giving my mom physical therapy and was not doing it. I do not recommend this place. It looks nice but they are very incompetent!!! Even when I was looking at placing her there long term they never sent over any kind of paperwork or contracts that said what they were offering. When they knew my mom was leaving and going to another place they did not have her ready or her stuff packed up. It was beyond frustrating and when I voiced any complaints they never said sorry we will fix that or offer any solutions. They did not care in any way. Very dissappointed in this place!!
