They no longer have breakfast or a pool. They false advertise. They said they don't intend to start either back up

This Hampton Inn is sometimes considered to be located in: Wildersville, Parkers Crossroads, and also Lexington. When I searched Booking under Parkers Crossroads it wasn't listed, and if I hadn't spotted it from the highway I wouldn't have known about it. I'm on a long distance road trip, and this was the best of the "breakfast included" hotels.

When I stopped in Tennessee for gas, I realized I needed to stop and get some rest and ended up stumbling across this Hampton Hotel. I did quick research via google in the car at the gas station right next to it and learned that Hampton by Hilton is one of Hilton's biggest brands. While its not on Hiltons luxury brand side, Hampton delivers value and comfort for guests looking to be cautious about their travel spend. I had no reservations and it was in the middle of the night but they had plenty of rooms. The woman who assisted me was very nice. In fact all employees I encountered were super pleasant. 2 double beds came to about $109. They do have military discounts so with that the room came to about $94. The room was clean, and very comfortable to my surprise. Nice luxury feeling comforters and nice Neutrogena toiletry amenities in the bathroom. They also had a nice breakfast spread free for guests with coffee starting at 6am in the morning. Not sure if I'll ever be in Tennessee again but if I am, I definitely will come back and stay at this hotel.

My friend and I were in town following the unexpected passing of my mother at the end of February…read more When it became clear that staying in my mom's home wasn't healthy for either of us (my mom had been a heavy smoker and then we found mold in two rooms), my friend kindly took the helm and called around to find a hotel that would work within our budget while we continued to make arrangements for my mom and clean out her home for the remainder of the week. As we were checking in, I happened to notice large boxes of dog biscuits in the supply closet behind the front desk. When I inquired, the lovely gentleman who was checking us in told us they were a pet-friendly property for an additional nightly fee. Honestly, in our haste, we hadn't even thought to ask, opting to leave my beloved pooch at my mom's. Needless to say, we went right back to my mom's house and picked up my girl. During our stay, everyone went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as lovely as possible, despite the awful circumstances. Right after we checked in, the attached note was slid under our door, which really moved me. They gave us a beautiful room right next to a well-lit side exit door where there was a large grassy area to safely walk my dog any time of the day or night as well as easily park and drag ourselves in after long physically and emotionally taxing days. In my career, I've worked for high-end hotel companies (on a corporate level) and I've stayed at some of the nicest five star properties in the world. I will say, for chain hotel in a small town like Union City, I was thoroughly impressed with their hospitality, professionalism, cleanliness, and amenities. We decided to come back to the hotel early one night to spend some time at the pool, which was immaculately clean. And most impressively - they had a motorized chair lift for those who are disabled to enjoy the pool as well. I loved the small commissary adjacent to the front desk for those late night snack attacks, of which I had many. And the continental breakfast was one of the nicest I've seen at any hotel I've stayed at. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at any of their properties and highly recommend them. And most notably, I want to extend my everlasting gratitude for providing me a place to land during one of the most difficult weeks of my life.

On our road trip from Fort Worth, we were researching available places in this area and Little Tracks came up as having one night open!!! We lucked out!! We stayed in Red Fish cabin for the night. Once you reserve and pay for your stay, the owners text you the appropriate information to get in! They're so hospitable. When we walked inside our cabin from our long day of driving, we were greeted with a cozy and clean place! There is a hot shower, shampoo/conditioner, beauty mirror, towel hooks, towels and linens. The kitchen is complete with dinnerware and cutlery, a blender, coffee machine and fridge in case you want to cook any meals. We also spotted a fire pit in the front for making s'mores! If the temps gets too cold or hot outside, there is an ac unit to make your sleep more comfortable. There is a tv mounted in case you have time for watching anything, we didn't though. The trees were gorgeous, showing off their fall colors, and it was so quiet despite being right off I-40! It felt like a night at Grandma's house, safe and snuggly. We recommend staying!

My lone complaint was that we stayed here during renovations. They had appropriately provided signage noting that the laundry and gym facilities were closed due to the rehab work going on, but we still had to pay north of $200 for the stay, even with those amenities not be usable. Sort of thought there would be a "pardon our dust" discount. Oh well. The free breakfast in the morning which started at an impressive 6am was excellent. Staffer had it up and running right on time, and the food area was as clean and tidy as I have ever seen with a great selection of items. I really like that the dairy products are kept cold in a fridge. Coffee was good & I am a picky person when it comes to my coffee. I've also lived in Marriotts for months at a time. Basically, what I am saying is that I have had my fair share of Marriott experiences. This was one of the most upsetting stays I've ever had. Upon entering my room, I immediately noticed it was dirty. The floor looked dirty as it was littered with small pieces of garbage, there was garbage in the bathroom garage can, grimey finger prints on the furniture, and it looked like the sheets were used and just tucked back in all wrinkled. Theres no way this room was properly cleaned. Ok, so I've delt with a dirty room before. It is what it is. But for $172 for one night, Id at least expect to sleep in a clean looking bed. Then I noticed the room started to smell like weed. This is really where I draw a line. I went to the desk and told them my room smells like weed..and also it is dirty. And asked if there was any other rooms available. The front desk lady goes..."So which is it? Does it smell like weed or is it dirty?"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Its both! But I told her the weed smell is the main problem as I am traveling with a newborn and toddler and they cannot be breathing in toxins. The lobby also vaguely smelled like weed which was unpleasant but I didn't bring that up to her. She called the manager and was able to switch us rooms which is great and all, but when I got back to the dirty room, I found a pill on the ground. My heart sank. What if my toddler picked it up? What if he swallowed a pill and I didnt know? What if there were more? We were busy dealing with a messy and toxic room, unloading the car, and trying to soothe a toddler and a newborn from traveling in the car all day. I could have easily missed him putting something else in his mouth. One of the dirty things on the ground was a small bottle cap. A major choking hazard. My toddler did pick this up but I noticed immediately before he put it in his mouth. This hotel was negligent in providing a safe and clean space. It could have cost more than 172$. Thats a hospital visit and admission in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere. Thats my child's life. Do we think Marriott would have paid for this medical emergency? My guess is they would not. I am beyond upset that this happened. The room they sent us to also was a problem. The bath tub didn't close so I couldn't give the kids a bath. The internet was also so slow that it was better to just use my phone as a Hotspot to power my computer. I just hope this is a reminder to others to be vigilant in checking hotel rooms when traveling with small children. This night could have been way worse if I didnt catch Marriott's mistakes. I would also like to mention that this pill and bottle cap was in a relatively visible spot. If someone did vacuum the room, it would have been easily cleaned up. I dont know that I can trust Marriott anymore. I am so disappointed.
