Jason returned my call within an hour or less, and came by the next day to consult and give me a price. He had very helpful ideas on how best to layout the entry area and gate off our busy country road. We had to have a tree trimmed back in order to construct a new fence and Jason recommended a wonderful company who came within a few days and took care of the tree-trimming and removal. They hauled away the old fence plus some other old wood I tossed on his trailer. The fence is extremely solid and well made. He put in two gates that are very nice and work so well. The fence in front of my house of 25 years wasn't new when I moved in. It is a 4 rail fence of wood construction 2x8 rough sawn with 6x6 posts.The posts were set in concrete. Over the years it got very tired looking and close to falling down. I had 2 contractors over to estimate to estimate the repair. They both suggested that the fence was a lost cause and wanted to replace it. That was not what I wanted. The costs quoted were way out of my budget. Besides, I just get ticked when I offer to hire a professional and they tell me that they can't do what I want. However i was able to find Jason through a referral friend that just had a fence installed by Heritage.The minute he looked at it he suggested that he could restore it to it's original condition. As soon as he said that I knew that he and I would get along great. He quoted me $3000. and that was fine because the replacing contractors wanted almost double that. So the job started and Jason soon found out that the original fence builder really used a lot of concrete to set the posts. It would need lot more work than he quoted. I told him that getting the job done right was most important to me and that we would sort out the terms if necessary afterward. So the fence was restored to perfection. Jason did quite a bit of extra work that he didn't anticipate. In the end the area was tidied up and the yard was transformed. Prior to getting the fence restored it was an eyesore that bothered me every time I drove by. Now it looks so good that I hardly notice it. It just blends in with the surroundings. Jason and his helper Uriel were very professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend Jason to anyone that is in need of fence installation or repair.
