PART 1
The only reason why I personally EVER attended this school was because at the other school I was at, I had been charged with third degree assault and my family and I had decided it would be better if I was withdrawn from that school rather than be expelled. A few weeks went by and we looked for a school that I could attend and we found this one because it was very close to where I live and was perfect for our commute on the daily without having to take the bus and we could afford to drive to this school because we live 5 minutes away. When we drove to the school for a tour and interview, we told them about what happened with me and they still allowed me to attend the school, in fact the first day shadow day was when I started attending this school for the next 5 years. I am a very good person but I have a short temper and had a bad experience with a boyfriend at the other school and that situation is what caused me to do what I did. At Berry Middle School, I had reported being bullied and they never did anything about it and told me to "just ignore it" and obviously that didn't work which brought on the charge. I attended SMCS now known as HCA in seventh grade and have been attending since my senior year. My time at this school has been a rollercoaster with its light and dark times. Of course when I first shadowed here, everything was fine because I had come from a big public school and this private school was much smaller and I loved it because before my Berry experience, I had attended SMES (Shades Mountain Elementary School). I also managed to make a lot of friends at SMCS when I first showed up; even though this school was better than Berry, over the years my enjoyment of the school gradually declined. The one time I actually liked the school was during my 9th grade year during spiritual impact (or emphasis) week (so instead of impact week it was also known as spiritual emphasis week) and I finally got saved during this week. During this week, unlike every other day in the school with the heavy atmosphere, the atmosphere lightened and it was easier to breath; that didn't last long however, maybe a week or two later everything was back to normal and the tension in the air returned and everyone went back to not caring about one another. This affected me a lot because people used to like me a lot but my senior year I was ignored and no one talked to me except for teachers and I was made fun of because I don't talk a lot, not at all actually unless I am talked to because I have experienced many traumatic events and because of them I have built a wall around myself. Unlike at other schools where you could be alone or stay in a classroom and do homework, you have to be in the lunchroom even if you are not comfortable around all of the people there. I tried avoiding lunch and this worked for a month or two until I was forced to go to lunch even though I was not comfortable around the people there, which is also why I didn't talk a lot, I simply was not comfortable around the "Christians" there, and in my opinion I think a lot of the people here are fake Christians just by their actions, they judge you by your looks and what you wear and how you dress, they do not "love you brother" as God has told us to do. Everyone here is so fake and will talk about you behind your back, some have even gone as far as creating accounts about the school and talking about every person under the sun on there such as an account known as "ShadyShadezzz". I know this information because not only was I talked about behind my back, but my friends were as well. If you don't show up for one day, everyone assumes you've left the school and the students and some teachers will make snarky comments such as that the person probably "checked out for good" which is referred to as the person leaving the school, going to another school and never again coming back to this school when that person had other plans such as a funeral or something else that day. I also don't blame the people for leaving who did, at least they finally got out of here and don't have to experience the pain that lingers here. Another thing the school does still have a problem with since I was in the seventh grade is an obvious bullying problem. When I was in seventh grade I knew a girl named Hannah Wood and she committed suicide because of bullying and I knew her and sat with her at lunch, I don't know why anyone would bully her, she was so beautiful, nice and very talented at drawing; I only was privileged with speaking to her maybe one or two times and I miss her a lot. If you don't like public school, you're better off trying homeschooling or online school because that's what I was going to do but I didn't as a last minute decision because it was my senior year and decided to stick it out one last time which was not a good idea because I hate this school more than ever so PSA if you're a loner like me or socially awkward like others in this school do not attend read more
