Of course this happened on a Sunday night at 8pm so our regular vet clinic was not open, so we quickly came up with the plan to go to the best emergency veterinary clinic we knew of- MSU Veterinary clinic. We had never been there before but had heard excellent things about the resources and specialties available. We got our injured pupper there as fast as we could and got checked in with no delay. We saw Veterinary students and a physician within minutes, and got our dog checked out and a plan of action very quickly. We were very lucky our dog didn't have any SERIOUS injuries, although he did require some wound cleaning and four stitches. The physician gave us a detailed estimate of cost of care prior to administering care. The staff took excellent care of our dog and had us on our way in no time with the proper equipment (cone of shame) and medications (antibiotics and pain meds), as well as detailed instructions. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of veterinary care, especially emergency veterinary care.

Their communication was great, both between them and me and each other. My appointment was smooth and easy to schedule. Their covid precautions are very good as are their moving clients in and out, avoiding too many animals in the hall or lobby. She received a through exam along with three vaccines. My dog was not cooperating with the oral vaccine, so the vet stepped out and asked for help. A tech arrived within moments. Again, smooth and easy. I felt like all my questions were answered and liked that the advice came with a good explanation. I was very pleased with the cost and inquired about having my pup spayed. I was provided with a detailed invoice of the procedure and prices. Again, more than reasonable costs.

We have had both of our corso's ears done here and they have been textbook. This office has been nothing short of accommodating when I've had something come up that should be seen sooner than later and always make arrangements for my animals. I had to take my puppy to a different vet to have his ears fixed, which cost me more money and he didnt care to do anything for us at all, if you want your puppies ears to turn out great or need them fixed after this guy mutilates your puppy's ears go see "Five Points Animal Hospital in Albion Michigan" they are the only reason why my puppy actually had a good turnout and it took a lots of work to fix what this guy did. I have taken animals here since I was a child. I am now 37 with 3 cats of my own and continued…read moregoing to them. There has been a significant decline over the years. What was once a compassionate office that cared about animals, seems to now only care about the bottom dollar. We were first turned away when we voiced concerns about our cat who had a stomach procedure done started to drop weight fast and drool from her mouth shortly after. We were told they didn't have time and to go to Williamston. Upon arriving there they discovered her mouth full of cancer and were shocked she had just been at dvh so recently.. She was put to sleep the same day due to her pain. We made the decision to go back against our better judgement, but because I'd been going there for as long as I've been in DeWitt. Which brings us to today. Our 3 year old cat has been being checked regularly for what they deemed ibs through multiple blood test, one of which they encouraged us to send out to a specialist for over $300. No problem, I'll spend that to make sure my animal is ok. His face swelled today and he is acting lethargic. I called to see if we could be seen and after explaining symptoms the on site doctor determined there was no time to get him in and encouraged Williamston again. I asked when first appointment was available and was told not until mid December. My animal is suffering and you suggest waiting until then? No thank you. I am done and will never come back. I am so sad that a once amazing office has now decided with their massive building and multiple doctors that long time patients are not important enough for even 5 minutes of a conversation. I'll take the small old office with Dr. Wendy. That was the last time it felt like the priority was animals.
