This review is only for the convenience store part as we did not eat in the dinner.
The good: Has basically everything for snacks. They sell maps, lottery, walking sticks, and cute stuff for your loved ones. Has candy and toys for kids. Has a room that has tons of stuff and necessities for truck drivers. They even have a barber shop. Workers speaks both english and french.
The bad: For a pit stop store, it is pretty small. Limited choice of meals-to-go. No clothes to sell. Staff young and, although they were nice and gave a good service, they do not seem 100% happy to be there. They also wear sort-of revealing clothes (breasts were everywhere). Not all articles have price tags. Narrow aisles and space. Toys for kids looks out-of-date. Plush toys are very basic and limited choice. DVDs for sale were used.
I have stopped at various pit stop places and this one has been the most disappointing so far of the bunch (as far as the convenience store portion goes). read more
