Everyone in the office are nothing but warm, friendly, and go above and beyond to help you out. I am so thankful for the front desk staff, Aimee and Cris, for always being so attentive and understanding, especially when dealing with insurance (I know it can be a pain). They are both very quick to respond as well whenever I have any questions or concerns. I can truly depend on them! There are a few hygienists that work at this office as well and they all excel at what they do, so I know I can go to anyone and be satisfied with the cleaning. (Shoutout to Tassia though, you're the best) Dr. Kevin Asai's quality of care is superb. Anytime I had a problem, he always listened patiently, explained everything thoroughly, and I always felt heard. There were times where he would even check up on me outside of business hours to see whether I had any continued pain even after treatments. He also has impeccable hand skills and makes injections painless - which is a plus! Not only that, but Dr. Asai really tries to get to know you as a person outside of being just a patient which I really appreciated. I can confidently say that I've never had an experience at a dental office like this before and I'm absolutely gutted that I had to move. I don't think I'll find an office like this ever again. But I am so unbelievably grateful for Dr. Asai & office staff and I'll be back whenever I am in town! :)

I let them know that tooth #9 was loose, and I was happy to find out that I qualified for a bridge. That was definitely a positive. However, things started to feel overwhelming once we discussed the full treatment plan. I was told I needed a deep cleaning, and that it would be broken into two separate appointments -- one side costing around $400 and the other around $500 the following week, even with insurance. I also wasn't aware ahead of time that I would be charged for the X-rays, which I wish had been communicated more clearly before proceeding. I had hoped I would at least receive a regular cleaning that day, but that wasn't offered. By the end of the visit, I felt financially stressed and unprepared for the total costs being presented. The office itself is professional and clean, and the staff was polite. However, I would strongly recommend asking for a full cost breakdown upfront before agreeing to treatment. Make sure you are clear on what your insurance covers and what you will owe out-of-pocket so you don't feel caught off guard like I did.
