The new receptionist, Paula, was not very helpful and she lacked appropriate customer service skills. Paula recently replaced the original receptionist who retired after decades of service. Paula was unable to tell me the day when oil would be delivered to my house so that I would be able to make arrangements with my employer to be home for the delivery. She explained that I could just leave cash or a check at my house for the driver to pick up whenever he was going to make it there in the next 2 weeks or so. This just seemed unreasonable to me. I would think there would be some way to know when, approximately, the oil delivery would occur. There were a few other issues which I discussed with Paula, but she continued to be difficult and borderline rude. As a result, I will never order my heating oil from this company again. I will also hire another HVAC contractor to install ductless units into my house this spring. Leighow Oil Company should fire their new receptionist!

Showed up without the part, later found a 'used' one in his van. Sat in my driveway for over 40 mins. throughout appt., also said he had to 'go back to the shop' twice, once sitting in driveway for 20 mins., next was leaving for 10 mins., then sat in driveway another 10 mins. Tore apart wall thermostat, which wasn't a problem. Husband came home from work, had tech show him the replacement unit, and husband pointed out it was wired wrong. Tech had wired it wrong! So for the 3hrs he was there, should have been maybe 1hr of work had he known what he was doing. He then re-wired it and it worked....I get billed for 3hrs! THEN woman manager argued with me over the bill when I called to say there's no way I'm paying for their tech's incompetence and I'd agree to pay for 1hr. She was SUPER rude even after I pointed out how rude she was being to me. This was not my fault and the tech coming and going, sitting in my driveway, not bringing a part, then finding it, wiring it wrong, tearing apart my wall unit for no reason...... I'm sorry, I am not paying for 3hrs of him not actually performing the job. Unreal, more upset over the woman manager being so rude and not even wanting to listen. She over-talked me, raised her voice so I couldn't talk, and even snickered when I said I knew the owner and went to school with him and I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate how she treated customers! Never again. I even got charged for a new part when the tech flat-out told me it was used and he found it in his van!

I spoke with a woman on the phone and told her that my mini-split systems were not heating and that I had someone add refrigerant late in the summer. I suspected they were low. They came the next day which was quite a pleasant surprise only to have them fill my system after telling me that it was totally empty and then handed me a bill for over $500. After the technician left, I contacted the office and told them that I was shocked they filled the system and concerned that it would be a waste. They assured me it had to be done because they couldn't leak check an empty system. They agreed to come back a couple weeks later to leak check. When the technician arrived again, the system was empty once again. He then proceeded to leak check the empty system with Nitrogen. His conclusion was that I had multiple leaks that couldn't be repaired and handed me a $360 bill. When I contacted the office with my frustration, the person on the phone once again told me that they could not leak check an empty system (even after the technician had already done it). I was extremely frustrated that I wasted $500 dollars when they could have just done the leak check without filling the system first. They told me that's "what I asked for". After all of this, they wanted me to purchase a completely new system from them. I will never do business with this company again. They expect their customers to be the expert and tell them what needs to be done. The people on the phone with the customer do not know what can and can't be done. I would look for a company with better customer service and not someone just looking to make a quick buck.

Bonnie was very polite and professional. She was able to get someone out to my home that afternoon. Heather did a great job. She serviced the unit, cleaned it out and got it working. She noticed it needed a new high pressure valve, ordered the part and came back a week lat and installed it. Very trustworthy and left no messes. Definitely will use again. Price was very reasonable. Heather showed me things like how to change the batteries and clean the filter in the furnace area also (things I now need to learn as my husband recently passed).
