    I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding an extremely poor customer…read moreservice experience my family and I encountered at The Mobile Shop - Bayfield Barrie location during a recent phone upgrade and trade-in process. This situation involved repeated misinformation, contradictory explanations, and a lack of transparency that ultimately left us feeling misled and disrespected as long-time customers. We left the store feeling frustrated, disrespected, and honestly violated as customers. At multiple points throughout this process, we were given conflicting information, blamed for internal miscommunication, and denied transparency. We were patient, polite, and accommodating throughout what became an unnecessarily drawn-out and stressful experience. We are repeat customers who have purchased multiple phones and plans through The Mobile Shop. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will not be returning as customers, nor will we recommend this location to anyone. We will be contacting the district manager with more details and believe this situation warrants review. Proceed with caution when dealing with this location and manager.

I've contacted Rogers and followed their prompts that my phone number is not recognized. My payments to the same account are however, gratefully received each month. I've tried to reset passwords via the Rogers/Shaw app and by the time you receive the number to reset you can't get back to the reset page. I called the Zehrs store and a lady told me to come to the store and they would call Rogers direct. When I attended the store the lady was not there and her colleague was absolutely clueless and went through the motions I had explained and oddly enough, got the very same results. These guys are missing the customer satisfaction definition. I will be writing Rogers directly (if I can get by the "customer service" bots. To management at The Mobile Shop, train your staff or buy a sign that states we will be back at xxxx to SERVE YOU. My time is money also!!!

    Hello Future-Tech, I am writing to formally lodge a…read morecomplaint regarding the poor service and damage caused to my Samsung A52 smartphone at your store on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at approximately 1:15 PM at your Vaughn Mills location. I visited your store to fix an issue with my phone's charging port, as it occasionally failed to charge when plugged in. The technician on duty tested my phone using one of the shop's chargers and confirmed the same issue. He told me that the charging port was faulty and offered to fix it for CAD 20. After negotiation, we both agreed on a fee of CAD 10 for the repair. He asked me to return in 20 minutes to collect my phone. Upon my return, the technician informed me that the repair was completed and requested my PIN to access the phone. I declined to provide it and instead attempted to unlock the device myself. I immediately discovered that I could no longer swipe or input my PIN -- the touch screen was unresponsive. I showed this to the technician, who appeared nervous and began to unscrew the phone again. He made a phone call in another language, but I could hear him mention "charging port." Despite several attempts, he was unable to restore the functionality. He even removed my screen protector and force-restarted the phone, yet the issue persisted. When I tested the phone with my own chargers, the charging problem also remained. The technician later confirmed, using his own charger, that the phone was still not charging properly. At that point, I became very upset, as my phone was now in worse condition than before. I had to leave for work immediately and told him I would return when free. Because of the damage to my phone, I was unable to book a ride to work and had to walk approximately 28 minutes. Throughout my shift, I was unable to reach my wife and baby, nor could they reach me, causing great distress. As of now, my phone remains unusable, and the initial charging issue was not fixed. This has caused me significant inconvenience and emotional distress. I request that Future-Tech take full responsibility for the damage caused to my phone and either: Repair or replace my Samsung A52 to its original working condition,or I press charge for the damage and the emotional stress caused. I await your prompt response on this issue. Christian
