Walk ins are welcome and you won't wait too long. Katherine sat me down and gave me a great cut while talking about great books and local things. The business has been in Greg's hands for thirty years and going strong. They have a bulletin board with cards for alot of local places that would be useful for many things. I only took off one star as they are a bit old fashioned in that they only accept cash. Maybe an update on that would be good. I did not see an atm handy but I had cash. I have now had my hair done by both and have been equally satisfied. The shop is clean, sleek, and relaxing with continued improvements seemingly every time I come in. For many months I had Lori cutting my hair. She was very knowledgeable about current trends and executed very well. Recently, I stopped in and after selecting a preference for either employee I ended up at Philip's station. I was honestly a bit nervous after having had positive experiences with Lori but Philip was fantastic! He took immense care in what he was doing and I ended up with a great cut and beard trim. I did notice another review claiming high prices and I highly refute that statement. My haircut and beard trim took around 45 minutes and cost me $18 before tip. Extremely reasonable and CHEAPER than chain locations that bust out cuts as fast as they can. I know this establishment has begun the process of getting its liquor license to add a true gentleman salon feel. They have also recently purchased a humidor in hopes of stocking fine cigars (to be consumed off-site). These additions will further my enthusiasm for this establishment.

They will deny your every inspiration picture because they can somehow tell what type of hair the model on a glossy has while being confused by yours. They will be the first to inform you that you are wrong about your concerns. You could be calling the crisis line in the middle of the night because they are good at lying to the faces of their clients. They put on friendly faces for the owner. They do things very well for the clients they know outside of the business. They will still tell you that they have to use whatever they want to use, despite the client saying no to being touched with certain equipment. They will leave you with different lengths and tell you that you need to let it grow out and they do not pay attention to wether or not it's style able. They will treat you as if you are less than when you question any of their work. Their attitude is demeaning, isolating, and they will not offer the MVP, nor suggest product.
