I am a 22+ property portfolio landlord living in Surrey, but with my properties spread throughout the South East. I have known Peter a little while, having literally flagged him down at the roadside in Thornton Heath to do some emergency work for me, there and then. Since that day I have used him for all my gas and plumbing work and all of the other day to day bits and pieces of associated repairs, that are often such an important part of getting the gas and plumbing work properly completed in a timely manner.
When I need work done, I usually need it done there and then, not some time next week or next month, and I haven't the time to fuss about what's required, where it is, or pre-job written estimates and pointless unnecessary chit-chat... Peter and his staff have always responded to those sometimes unreasonable demands in a colloquially friendly, professional manner and to date, have not let me down once. Pricing: on most jobs I have paid him a little extra than he has asked for on completion, simply as a gesture of my appreciation of his efforts and integrity.
Sometimes, often, on refurbishment jobs I also get my overalls on and pitch in with a lot of the dirtier, disgusting work that crops up from time to time, and I can tell you that not only do Peter and his staff do likewise, (without complaining) but that they are also great fun, relaxed, and a pleasure to work with.
