I totally agree with Alexander S, who "had a very disappointing experience. Despite being polite and patient throughout the conversation, the agent was unexpectedly hostile and aggressive." My experience was similar, Everett was so diagreeable and blamed me for not sending him the information to where he wanted. (Email is not good enough??) I am a research scientist working on a quantum computer. I do not know health insurance, and I don't hve time to look into it. I thought an agent is paid to make it simple and easy for the clients. I guess this is not the ideology of Henderson Group. Luckily, I quickly found another agent elsewhere who is patient and genuinely wants to help. read more

Everett Henderson was condescending, rude and short tempered when I had my first phone call meeting with him today regarding picking out individual health and dental insurance. I sought his assistance because I was overwhelmed with picking out an insurance plan amongst hundreds of them. I answered all relevant questions in detail prior to our phone call. When he first spoke to me he said what questions do I have? I said all of these policies look horrible but I said it in a joking manner and explained how they're all super expensive and then I carried on with the conversation. I'm aware they're expensive but he clearly did not read my email about what I'm looking for, what I'm paying now and he was not willing to work with me or explain my options. Instead he hung up on me midsentence when I asked him directly if he was even interested in working with me? Simple question to somebody who immediately sounded annoyed by doing the very job he's supposed to do. read more

Lost my employer provided health coverage rather abruptly and needed to secure a insurance that wouldn't cost a fortune. My husband is self employed which made our obtaining coverage a bit more pressing and the options online are multiple and complex. Customer service is important to me, so contacted Everett from the stellar reviews and was not disappointed. He made the process easy, concise and painless. He was very prompt in getting back to me via text or email. He was good on his word and provided solid, sound advice on a often difficult industry to navigate. Can confidently recommend. read more

I don't know how my husband first hooked up with this agency, but he was impressed enough to encourage me to call, when it was my turn to try to grasp, understand, and decide on the Medicare options. Everett made a complex, weighty decision so, so, much easier,by patiently spelling out everything in detail, and by being available for many a follow up call. He explained, but he didn't pressure, even though I went back and forth on the options. Honestly, I am so grateful I found this agency. I cannot recommend it highly enough. read more

Over the last year, Everett has helped us out twice with getting Massachusetts marketplace health insurance (after I retired and then after my wife left a short-term job). As we were going through the process, we appreciated his proactive nature in reaching out to us to educate us about the next steps. We found him to be very knowledgeable about the options, but just as important to us, he was incredibly responsive. If he wasn't available, he would ultimately call back in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend Henderson Insurance Group. read more
