She recommended waiting to see if the short-term option worked things out; I appreciate not rushing to do this work. She was patient, a great listener, provided options, gave me ideas on how to tackle another foot issue and slow down the degenerating process. And, a doctor is sometimes only as good as their staff. The team is kind, funny, and engaging. I've already recommended her within a day to others. :) I do not mess around with professionals when they have a direct impact on my physical health. This doctor had told me there was nothing more that he could do for me and that I would just have to deal with walking with pain for the rest of my life. I switched to Benjamin Podiatry right after I was told that, and Dr. Benjamin promised me that he would fix my foot and he wouldn't let me live the rest of my life walking in pain. Dr. Benjamin did everything that he could think of to help me, hoping surgery would be a last resort, and reassured me when I was scared. He ended up having to operate on my foot to fix what the other doctor had caused, and I could not be more happy with my experience. Dr. Benjamin and the other staff made me so comfortable from the pre- op appointments and procedures all the way through my surgery and all through my recovery and post- op care. I now walk and exercise with no pain, all thanks to Dr. Benjamin. I couldn't be more happy with having him as my podiatrist.

Dr. Lockridge graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She also attended Kent State College College of Podiatric Medicine. She went on to complete her foot and ankle residency at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Lockridge is ABFAS Board Qualified in foot and ankle surgery and is an active member active of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. I met Dr. Lockridge today for the first time. She had a positive attitude with a great smile and professional but personable. She chatted with me and answered questions as she examined and worked on my feet. My nails were trimmed where they needed to be. My nails look and feel so much better after she addressed a couple of areas bothering me. I really like her and look forward to my next appointment. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. She is efficient and tries to get you in and out timely. If you're looking for a podiatrist in the Avon area, I highly recommend Dr. Lockridge.
