My husband and I have been in a beautul old cottage in Cranford, rented through Best Lets@ Henderson and Connellan now for 7 years. I am shocked reading these reviews as I have found quite the opposite of what they say. The whole team are very approachable, I can e mail them with non urgent queries, and the cottage is visited personally every 6 months by one of the staff. These visits are always friendly and helpful. The owners of the cottage have been involved when the cottage needed building work done due to subsidence, the work was carefully planned and we were involved all the way. Our home (and we do call it that!)is at least 250 years old, and may even have been a single storey thatched property before that. I think management of a property, this old that is in a conservation area is probably quite demanding. So all I can say is well done to them all. We love living here and want to put the record straight. I am sure we are not the only long term tenants who could support this company against these bad reviews. I also think these reviews /comments should be moderated better, and the owners of Henderson and Connellan contacted to comment appropriately.There are always 2 sides to such stories, and I know when I rented out my house 30 years ago in London I was scammed twice by tenants. AVOID HENDERSON CONNELLAN Worst Estage agents in Kettering. The staff is rude and unhelpful. They provided me with wrong information. I was made homeless because of them. They sold the property that I was going to rent after all the referencing was done and key collection date was fixed. They charge for referencing fees even if you have been renting through them. I was given completely inaccurate and contradicting information by different agents in the same office. They are like termites and will harrass you if you ever happened to deal with them. Their manager is least worried about the reputation of the company, 'cos he is getting his salary and the boss is not bothered. They treat the high end market people in a very disgracefull way. Please avoid 'Henderson Connellan' if you can!! I had the bad experience of renting an apartment through them for 6 months. This turned out to be a nightmare. The staff were completely irresponsible and very rude on many occations. The service was unacceptable as even essential repairs took numerous phone calls and wasted so much of my time. I had to wait for a month before my fridge-freezer was repaired! I hated making phone calls to this agent as I was sure that everytime my concerns were going into deaf ears and that I was going be treated rudely! Working for a national company for 7 years I understand what good customer service consists of and Henderson Connellan do not. Every time we have spoken to them on the phone they have been rude abrasive and patronising. This letting company are terrible the worst I have ever dealt with. Advice DO NOT use them. They will use every excuse under the sun to make sure you do not receive your deposit back in full. Looking at other reviews most people think exactly the same. NEVER DEAL WITH THEM. read more
