I have been trying to get them to complete the estate paperwork and close probate for nearly 4 months now. They have been telling me they will get to it next week for nearly 4 months. They just will not complete the job no matter how hard I try to get them to, and continuously say they will do it "next week". Working with them has been a terrible experience, if I could give them zero stars I would.

Attorneys do not negotiate with a judge, only the prosecutor 2. In Michigan you can never negotiate the number of points a violation carries. They are automatically assigned after conviction. Prosecutors cannot impact a matter that is only a State function. The way to reduce points is to have the case dismissed or amended to a different charge. 3. Traffic cases are prosecuted differently in each jurisdiction. Students at WMU often deal with a less flexible system than in nearby districts. Having a knowledgable attorney can give the best information and approach to increase your odds of success. " I am NOT a lawyer and I never claimed to be. In the process of stating my OPINION, I am sure that I may have gotten the technical terms in statement "1." mixed up. How many times have you gone to the doctor to describe your ischemic bi-lateral pulmonary infarcation concerns based on a contra-indicated series of prescriptions causing tachycardia? That's right: you don't. You complain of chest pains, because you are a layperson, just like me. To address "2.": I'm sure this may be the law, yet, I was told otherwise by Mr. Tibble at the time of the "defense". 3. I'm sure all traffic courts are pretty inflexible, but your best bet is probably to show up at court to fight the ticket by yourself and if the officer does not show up, you may have the case dismissed. No lawyer required. Like I said before this is an OPINION site and I'm merely expressing my opinion. I'm sure even this response can have the "magic" of the law waved over it to make it appear that I'm some random anonymous Internet person faking all of this, but you should ask yourself these two questions: 1. I asked for the paperwork to submit to the courts like they say on the phone they will provide. They refused to give it to me and said,"You are not ready for it." Seriously? I don't need to be told whether or not I am ready to file. That is my decision and they lied because that paperwork is something they said they provide and will type up for you at the mediation. When I ended up having to go to court to get the mediation agreement upheld because my spouse wanted to back out on it, the courts did not uphold the agreement because the mediator told my spouse's lawyer it wasn't a final agreement, which was a lie. Basically they wanted us to have to come back to mediation yet again and spend tons more money. Don't waste your time, money, and energy. This is NOT a mediator on the court approved list. You can get the domestic mediator list from the Kalamazoo City Office.
