Despite being clear about my requirements during booking, the process was a total mess from start to finish. Day 1: I moved heavy furniture to provide clear access. The technician provided quotes but claimed he "didn't have time" to do the work. I was charged nearly $300 just for the quotes. Day 2: Moved all the furniture again. The second technician arrived but wasn't qualified to perform the quoted work. While he was honest about his limitations and tried to fix the scheduling error with the office, I was now two days down and hundreds of dollars out of pocket for no results. Day 3: For the third attempt, I scaled back and requested only one AC be serviced. The technician arrived and immediately made me feel awkward by pointing out my previous 1-star review. He remarked, "Let's see what we can do about a 5-star review," yet proceeded to do only the bare minimum--nothing to actually address the prior service failures. The Breaking Point: After the third visit, I was invoiced for all three ACs despite only one being serviced. I had to call the office to dispute the charges for work that was never performed. The Verdict: By the time I received the "correct" invoice, the total cost (including the initial Day 1 charge) amounted to the price of a decent quality new air conditioner--all just for a basic service and clean. Between the scheduling incompetence, the awkward confrontation regarding my review, and the billing "errors," I cannot recommend this service.

I expected the work to be high quality as profusely promised by Jared the carpenter and I'm absolutely devastated with the substandard work performed. I booked a quote for replace of 2 doors however I was manipulated/coerced into also having 2 new door frames , its now evident they use upsell tactics to get more money out of you by suggesting extra repairs that aren't necessary . The quality of work is disgraceful I didn't receive what I requested and the two new doors I bought were never installed . I now have 2 door frames that are defective, substandard and misaligned with the old previous doors reinstalled crooked with a lean instead of my two new doors! There was NO duty of care , the scope of works wasn't adhered to by the carpenters Jared and Billy's and the substandard carpentry breaching the QBCC building code. The carpentry was rushed due to a mixup by an office staff member . Jared convinced and promised me he would do a top quality job - that's NOT what I received I paid $2987.41 for bodgy defective carpentry that I didn't need . Secondly, I want to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the appalling way the office staff has handled the carpentry booking and repair experience. From start to finish, I have been misled, manipulated, ignored, and treated with a complete lack of respect. I was assured upon making a booking that the carpentry work I requested would be carried out on the same day. This was completely misleading and ludicrous . I waited 2.5 weeks to get a booking with Jared . What happened next was totally unacceptable! On the morning of the scheduled repair -- at 6:50 AM, no less -- I was informed that a different carpenter would be attending. I specifically requested Jared the same carpenter who completed my quote that assure me he would be doing the repairs . When I refused to accept the last-minute change, the office staff member was rude and hung up on me -- simply because I wouldn't allow her to pressure me into accepting someone else. That behavior is unprofessional, unacceptable, and frankly disgraceful. I was then fed a series of conflicting and dishonest excuses: * That the original carpenter "only does quotes" (a lie, as he told me himself that he performs carpentry), * That "company policy" dictates I get whoever is available on the day (another lie -- there is no mention of this in the contract or any communication). Eventually, I was given the original carpenter Jared -- the same one who, according to your earlier lie, "doesn't do carpentry" -- but not until 11:00 AM. It is very clear that my time and commitments are not considered important by your company. Since then, my calls were continually diverted to voicemail. This is not just poor service -- it's outright avoidance and neglect of your duty of care to your clients. This entire experience has been riddled with lies, bait-and-switch tactics, and deliberate avoidance. I do not appreciate being misled, dismissed, and left chasing answers that should have been transparently communicated from the beginning. Jared did not perform as promised . I wish Jared and Billy never came to my house at all I don't tolerate defective work and lack of transparency and coercion . Good luck to anyone who tolerates this type of behaviour. I wish I never had Fallon attend my property. I requested they reattend to fix the defective work and they have since refused only to suggest I pay someone to bog all the defects !! I bought four LED wall lamps for $100 each from their Mt Gravett shop for my bedroom and living…read moreroom. After installed two for my bedroom and I noticed that they were not bright enough for my living room. I decided to return the other two as the shop promised they accept refund. When I took the lamps to the shop, the salesman denied refund and only agreed for a credit note which means that I am bound to buy other things in their shop sooner or later in order to spend $200 buck. The salesman even said that the credit policy instead of cash refund has been printed on the invoice, which I found later from the website of the Office of Fair Trading that it is against the law. I was cheated by this IC Lighting shop. I would tell everyone that this shop is cheating, not reliable. If your money is a surplus give them to charity don't come to this shop. Actually if you go elsewhere you will find this shop selling everything more expensive. What a shame!
