I DONOT RECOMMEND FALLON SOLUTIONS My experience has been atrocious to say the least. In summary - deceptive practices, coercion, defective work by carpenters and unprofessional conduct by the office and management. I expected the work to be high quality as profusely promised by Jared the carpenter and I'm absolutely devastated with the substandard work performed.
I booked a quote for replace of 2 doors however I was manipulated/coerced into also having 2 new door frames , its now evident they use upsell tactics to get more money out of you by suggesting extra repairs that aren't necessary . The quality of work is disgraceful I didn't receive what I requested and the two new doors I bought were never installed . I now have 2 door frames that are defective, substandard and misaligned with the old previous doors reinstalled crooked with a lean instead of my two new doors! There was NO duty of care , the scope of works wasn't adhered to by the carpenters Jared and Billy's and the substandard carpentry breaching the QBCC building code. The carpentry was rushed due to a mixup by an office staff member . Jared convinced and promised me he would do a top quality job - that's NOT what I received I paid $2987.41 for bodgy defective carpentry that I didn't need .
Secondly,
I want to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the appalling way the office staff has handled the carpentry booking and repair experience. From start to finish, I have been misled, manipulated, ignored, and treated with a complete lack of respect.
I was assured upon making a booking that the carpentry work I requested would be carried out on the same day. This was completely misleading and ludicrous . I waited 2.5 weeks to get a booking with Jared . What happened next was totally unacceptable!
On the morning of the scheduled repair -- at 6:50 AM, no less -- I was informed that a different carpenter would be attending. I specifically requested Jared the same carpenter who completed my quote that assure me he would be doing the repairs . When I refused to accept the last-minute change, the office staff member was rude and hung up on me -- simply because I wouldn't allow her to pressure me into accepting someone else. That behavior is unprofessional, unacceptable, and frankly disgraceful.
I was then fed a series of conflicting and dishonest excuses:
* That the original carpenter "only does quotes" (a lie, as he told me himself that he performs carpentry),
* That "company policy" dictates I get whoever is available on the day (another lie -- there is no mention of this in the contract or any communication).
Eventually, I was given the original carpenter Jared -- the same one who, according to your earlier lie, "doesn't do carpentry" -- but not until 11:00 AM. It is very clear that my time and commitments are not considered important by your company.
Since then, my calls were continually diverted to voicemail. This is not just poor service -- it's outright avoidance and neglect of your duty of care to your clients.
This entire experience has been riddled with lies, bait-and-switch tactics, and deliberate avoidance. I do not appreciate being misled, dismissed, and left chasing answers that should have been transparently communicated from the beginning.
Jared did not perform as promised . I wish Jared and Billy never came to my house at all I don't tolerate defective work and lack of transparency and coercion .
Good luck to anyone who tolerates this type of behaviour. I wish I never had Fallon attend my property. I requested they reattend to fix the defective work and they have since refused only to suggest I pay someone to bog all the defects !! I have forwarded a defective carpentry application to the QBCC.
