Mein erstes Mal bei Helpling und die schlimmste Erfahrung. Frau CAROLINA MÜLHBERGER wollte die Leistung nicht bezahlen und blockierte mich, als ich mich bei ihr beschwerte. Nachdem sie gesagt hatte, dass ich meine Erfahrungen im Internet erzählen würde, beschloss sie, die Zahlung zu akzeptieren. Sie bat um einen zweistündigen Helpling APP-Reinigungsservice. Das Geld ist mir egal hierbei nicht das wichtigste, ich möchte nur, dass eine andere Person nicht von dieser Dame betrogen wird. El dinero no es lo más importante, yo solo quiero que otra persona no sea estafada por esta señora. Estoy segura que no es la primera vez que ella utiliza la aplicación para este tipo de acciones. Our experience with Helpling was a disaster: a) The cleaner broke the pipe under our sink without telling us and I found out by coincidence. b) The cleaner cleaned 1/3 of the apartment in 3 hours, whereas any other cleaner would finish the entire apartment in that time. We contacted Helpling on these points; they don't take responsibility as each cleaner is "self-employed", with Helpling having no obligation towards their ultimate customers. We have to pay and can only hope that we will get the money for the repairs back. Ironically, no agent could answer the question why one would use Helpling then if they only take their cut without providing any advantages (e.g. when things go wrong like in our case). When I needed them the most they failed me. The fist cleaners they offered had no verified cleans. This was understandable as I was new to them as well. The first cleaner showed up and cleaned well with a few small details. I had booked the cleaner for a year, every other week, 4 hours. He cancelled for the second clean as he stated he found other work. Good for him. Second cleaner I picked had 127 cleans with a 4.6 rating and costs €17+ an hour. I'm having people over tonight and expected him to show at 10am. At 10PM last night he sends a message that he double booked. He offered to come on Saturday which does not work. He offered to come later today while my people are here which also does not work. So I am going to write my boss now and tell them the truth that I have to take a half day of work because my cleaner did not show and will make up the time this weekend. Oh boy I'm thrill to not only have to miss work to clean but have to trade weekend hours as well. I will hire a professional company, pay a little more and they will be insured. Epic fail. read more

This company stole my money! I made an appointment. The cleaner Isaac Sekou came 40 minutes late and refused to do his job. The company took my money as if the cleaning was done. Support refused to refund money. Never use this service because they don't provide any guarantees. You will not get your money back if the cleaner doesn't do the job. read more

This is the worst service provider that you will find in Germany. They take no responsibility whatsoever on behalf of their cleaners. The cleaner can even come and rob your house and Helpling will not be able to help because they have no contractual obligations. They say they are only acting as a mediator between the two parties and you need to resolve your matters directly with the cleaners, which is obviously impossible because they won't share the contact details of the cleaner either. They deducted random charges from my debit card because I had saved it for regular cleaning bookings. If you even cancel or reschedule your booking, they will still charge you for the entire booked duration without providing the services. Please don't trust this fraud website and save yourself the pain of dealing with these goons. read more

After using this service for months, I have to reject it completely. The company has serious trust and safety issues it fails to resolve between the cleaners and the customers, and it brands itself as a marketplace that only puts people in touch with one another, and refuses to take responsibility for when shi*t hits the fan and customers may be placed in danger. I'd emailed about the following issues and the company has refused to answer these points: 1. Twice occurred: The cleaner's photos don't match what they looks like in person, which points to a failure in the company's vetting standards. 2. My wanting to meet German safety standards and regulations, and the cleaner seemingly ignoring such standards, i.e., standing on windows I didn't want cleaned in the first place and refusing to get down despite being eight stories above ground. 3. The cleaner not leaving my home upon my numerous requests for her to do so and making me feel like I was in danger in my own home. Reaching out to Helpling to get help on resolving these issues and placing standards to ensure that this does not happen to others in the future yielded nothing beyond a measly refund for an hour. Furthermore, the repetitive comments from Helping that it is just a "market place" and "mediator" should put other customers on high caution alert for when things go wrong in the home, e.g., accidents or disagreements between customers and cleaners. read more

Extremely bad experience! Never Again! I registered for a cleaning every two weeks, each time we had a different cleaner so each time we had to explain everything from A to Z ; on top of that they advertise with cleaners that have good ratings (and you can supposedly pick them) but eventually you will end up with someone who has close to zero experience, or who will leave after a couple weeks. The last cleaner we had cancelled his job and all the appointments so we thought we were done with helping for good ; but no! This morning another one registered and when I wanted to cancel all appointments because I am sick of this platform, the cherry on the cake is they charge you 50€. HELPLING IS A RIP OFF! read more

over 350 euro damage for a laundry disaster. Not getting any Refund, because one of the damaged items " is currently on sale", so it does not reach the "minimum refundable value" any longer. I payed 44 euros for 3 hours cleaning + 366 euro for my damaged clothes, bought 2 weeks ago + 3 hours spent on ping pong email with your customer service, feeling treated like a fool Great Job Helpling! read more

I used helpling twice in my Rome, Italy apartment. The first time as good, so I decided to use them again. The 2nd time was a disaster! The cleaner was booked for 5 hour to give her more than enough time to clean 4 rooms. Upon arriving in my home, she starting rushing around as if in a hurry to leave. While rushing she failed to see the screen covering my patio door and run into it, breaking the screen and cord. The is screen is off track on both sides and the cord to lift the screen broken in the base. The entire screen must be removed for the repairs. There was 90 euro worth of damages. I contacted Helpling Italy to report the damages and request repairs. I was told that since their insurance deductible is $350, they are not responsible for any damages of $349 or less. Below is the actual reply: "We have contacted our cleaner Serena and she told us that she crashed into the screen door, but she only misaligned it and not broke it, and the heart shaped picture frame hasn't been broken by Serena. Unfortunately, the deductible is 350 €, and for damage under 350 €, you have to manage your claim directly with the cleaner." To me, this means like with all insurance policies, anything under deductible amount, the insuree pays out of pocket. Helping Rome, took zero responsibility for the person they sent into my home. The customers service person could not have care any less about the damages or seeing to it that Helpling or the cleaner fixed my screen. In the end, a 55 euro cleaning is costing me 145. To make matters worse, I tried to work with Helpling and offered a solution of them giving me a credit for the 90 euro for future cleans. The offer was flatly refused and I was told if I wanted another cleaning, I would have to pay. Due to short sightedness, the company has lost future business from me, all my friends and anyone that wants to know about my experince. I suggest along with cleaning homes, Helpling should help clean up the act of their franchisees. read more

If you were offered a choice between the devil and Helpling you might as well give the devil a chance. My Experience: * Their "Helpling" didn't show, and when I called them they told me they will get back to me in 10 minutes,they did and had no idea where their helpling is, and said to me to call them after 10 minutes, I called them for 20 minutes after that with no luck to get anyone on the phone. * Their website is only in German, their app, their phone menu all in German. * They need 48 hours to respond to emails, at the same time their actions are limited to 3/2 days notices so if you're lucky and wrote an email the minute things go wrong you might get herd. * Their phone menu doesn't work I literally pressed every option and wasted 20 minutes to get to their representatives with no luck. * I ran through many issues with them, I opened tickets, wrote emails, no response or automated german mails. just the bill. * And when they send the helplings some of them do little to no work, I've had one female and one male helpling, I wish the male one didn't come it felt like I just through away 40 euros. At the end I really don't see why the devil has such a bad name when companies like Helplings exist. I'm sure I will remember the names of the company managers/executives to avoid any future company they might join in "the app service" industry. read more

Not happy unfortuntely. Just used this service because my cleaning lady was on vacation, but it's just not a good experience. Noone tells you that they might send a guy - which is not nice when you are home alone as a woman - Too expensive, get a good cleaning lady privately - way better - Guy was clearly not experienced in cleaning, couldn't speak a word of german and hardly any english Sorry, but the service sucks. read more

I have finally come around to booking a Helpling this weekend, and I gotta say that I'm very satisfied! The cleaner had a very positive attitude, spoke perfect English & German, came prepared and performed great results. I will definitely book her again & keep on using Helpling! read more

Cleaner didn't show upat all, no call, nothing. So naturally, they rebooked the very same cleaner for the next appointment. When I called to rebook a different cleaner, I gave a very clear instruction about the rebooking date. So naturally, they rebooked the wrong date. Then they charged a cancellation fee for cancelling it too late. As far as I can tell, their concept of customer service is that the customer is a necessary evil, don't need to bother too much about them. Do they really think there's such a shortage of cleaners around that they can get away with treating customers like this? You also can't choose the gender of your cleaner so if you don't fancy letting a strange man into your house, don't bother with them. read more

Don't do it! After helpling took over putzfee.de, we tried to book our normal cleaner. Long story short: it took over 30 emails and 3 telephone calls to sort it out. They continually sent messages saying another person would be coming, then that one can't come so yet another would come. We explicitly declined all their recommended cleaners because we wanted the one we were used to. Then the cleaner showed up and they charged us for it. After many more mails, they removed the charge. The communication is very difficult (I wrote only in German) with the company. They don't read the mails properly or respond to the request exactly. Messages are long and seem to be template messages. Promises made on the phone were not kept. I can't evaluate the cleaning because we ended up (after 4 weeks) booking another service altogether. Booked the first cleaner -- she didn't clean, didn't show up for a second appointment and complained that "we were rude to her" when we complained at her unpunctuality and sub-par cleaning. Booked the second cleaner -- the first clean was ok, the second again sub-par job -- dirty floors, did not take out garbage (specifically requested to take out garbage and wash the floors). Super confusing cancelling interface. Then instead of cancelling, got contacted by a sales rep. Then another rep who reminded us that we are locked into a 3 months commitment and have to pay a fee to cancel. This service is really a headache. Plus no English interface on the website. read more

DO NOT USE HELPLING! The cleaner who came to my house did next to nothing. No vacuum cleaning or dusting was done! Shower not cleaned! Worse thing was the customer service when I put in a complaint in. Best they could offer me was a $15 credit for my next clean. Why would I want the credit if they can't arrange proper cleaners to do a decent job? I will never use Helpling again. read more

Unbelievable! Canceled appointment third time in a row. Despite of all promises to send reliable person after the previous time... Seems like no cleaning professionals working for helping anymore.
