The nursing staff was responsive to his every need and checked on him frequently. The pastoral care he received was equally wonderful. Sister Margaret Mary, in particular, was so warm and loving toward him, and I was touched by her kindness. I'm sure she brought him much comfort! In addition, I was pleasantly surprised by how the staff took such good care of my family and I while we kept vigil in my dad's room. Between my brother, my mom and myself, we never left his side on the weekend he passed. The staff saw to it that I had a pillow and blanket to keep me comfortable while I slept there overnight, and they also brought me a phone charger when I needed it. One day, a staff member cooked my mom a grilled cheese sandwich just for her, because she knew she needed to eat. They promised us they would do anything they could for us, and they certainly did! When my dad passed away, we were all given a hug by our wonderful nurse, and given reassurance that he was no longer in pain. I could tell that one of the other nurses present was fighting back tears, which touched me, as well, knowing that I was not alone in my grief. I really just can't say enough good things about the wonderful people working there who make it their mission to provide comfort and care to their patients and their families. And the facility, itself, is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Nobody wants to have to bring their loved one to a hospice, but if you should find yourself looking for a facility to provide palliative care for your family member, you really couldn't ask for a place better than Holy Family.

Their staff is so helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The administrator is very personable and he is very involved with his residents and staff. I love that they have a nursing home and assisted living together to make for an easy transition for my clients. It may not be in the greatest neighborhood in Cleveland but it is definitely a gem in the city and my go-to home that I'd like to place ALL of my clients at if I could.

I have my sister here at first was good but after few weeks a 369 hapen,the staff are very rude…read morewith her she pass hours waiting to get her diaper change, she even call me to ask me to please call the center so they stop ignoring her and change her diaper, if she ask for water they bring it when they feel like or they never bring it so she doesn't dirty her diaper, they take her blood and throw everything on her lil dresser like is a garbage can ,almost a year and she told me that not once anyone help her wash her mouth ,you don't see residents around, everyone is in their bed,like that's the system, easier for the employees only few times I'm try to talk to management but they always right with some excuses, they stole money from her in the past ,now her Lil perfume is gone ,air conditioner leak water and never get fix ,no therapy, my sister don't even like to call the nurses because she say they get mad,some of them when they come they say to her comments like "you can do this by yourself you don't do it because you don't want to,knowing that she's paralyzed, here some few pictures of my review record

Caring Companions has some experienced care givers. They also have inexperienced care givers. One…read morethinks that hiring an agency will provide care givers with special training. This is not the case. A caregiver was sent to my home who had just quit a job as a hairdresser? She was not experienced at all with dealing with the physically challenged. She allowed my loved one to slip out of the wheel chair. The paramedics were called. If your caregiver reports off, the agency often times does not have a back up care giver. Many times you will need to make other arrangements with your work because no care giver is available. One week I had four report offs! It made going to work on time a very stressful situation. Depending on the circumstances, they often change your starting time due to their monthly employee meeting. Sometimes, no prior warning is given so you are frantic trying to find a replacement in order to not be late for work. Other times they will call a few days prior to the beginning of the week and say that they don't have anyone available to fill the hours that you need. This is an agency who staff a lot of care givers. How could they not have anyone to send? This happened numerous times with me. Most often, they do not send the same care giver. Your loved one can't build a relationship with their care giver because it generally is not the same person. I don't know who makes out their schedule?

The last place I had my father in for a stay in rehab thought sandwiches with a side of Cheetos was an appropriate dinner for the sick and healing . The rooms are a little cramped here in rehab. A bit of jockeying of wheel chairs to get around. But all-in-all a truly a lovely place for your loved one.

Medical director even stated the use of alcohol was so high the entire hallway smelled like alcohol, but Ennis gladly allowed it as they were paying customers, health and wellbeing be damned.
