We just relocated to and bought a house in Milwaukee. The former owner did not trim the lawn prior…read moreto move-out, and with the nice Spring weather recently, the lawn was the eyesore of the block. With our belongings from out of state not yet delivered, we needed some quick help. A brief online request for service from Tidy Trim was quickly returned with a call from the owner, who promptly went by the house to survey the site, called back with an exceptionally fair quote, and graciously worked us into her schedule the following morning. The next day, she showed up fifteen minutes early and got everything taken care of lickety-split! The owner is incredibly kind, personable, and professional; a great welcome committee to Milwaukee! It was so nice to come home from work to a neatly-trimmed lawn, with all edges knocked down around planting beds, fence lines completely cleared, sidewalks free of debris, and no trace of residual mulch. While we do have our own lawn care equipment and enjoy the work ourselves, we will definitely keep Tidy Trim in our reserves for emergencies and more advanced care needs. Ben is an incredible entrepreneur, hard worker and good communicator for this clients…read more I found him through Yelp projects and he was attentive and quickly help schedule an onsite appointment for a site survey. We discussed a very large front yard undertaking with him. We wanted a "low grass" front yard concept and I explained to him some general flowers and plants I wanted involved. He put an outdoor landscaping "floor plan" together if you will. We talked things through and after some slight adjustments, we moved forward! He was great to organize and plan with. The issue is the timing of all of the plants and when they would be arriving due to the "zone" we are in. On the day of the project he and his team member arrived bright and early, discussed the plan and drawing once again to make sure we were all on the same page and got to work. Ben handled much of the getting rid of the grass and having level and even dirt. We had him bury a pipe regarding our excess water pump so that it was clean and underground and to the sidewalk. Then all of the plants were put into place and everything was covered with mulch. We even had him take out some large bushes that were in the back yard as part of the project while he was here. He was great to work with, had awesome follow up and always explained why something was happening. In his profession there obviously are some weather dependencies, so he was always good about keeping us informed if something had to slightly shift in the schedule.
