However, I was a bit surprised he didn't have reviews on Yelp. When I called, I spoke to Jay Alan (the owner) and the first thing I noticed was how service-oriented he was. He listened attentively, answered all of my questions without any rush and then wrote down my sister's inventory. He gave me a full quote for a truck, two guys, 3-4 hours of labor and we scheduled a time and date for the move. Three days before the move my sister purchased a sofa and accent chair from a family 12 miles from her new place. I called Jay and asked if we could incorporate an extra stop to pick up these items. Jay was extremely accommodating, gave me three different options and made suggestions to keep the cost down for my sister's move. On the day of the move Virgil and Keith arrived 10 minutes early and were extremely polite, friendly and ready to work. They took the upmost care to avoid the walls as they moved furniture out of the house, but they were quick and efficient. An hour and 35 minutes after they arrived we were on our way to our second location. At our second stop, Virgil and Keith handled my sister's newly purchased Thomasville sofa and chair with extreme care. The seller took note of this and before we left asked for their names and a business card for her upcoming spring move. Drop off went as smoothly as the rest of the move, the guys reassembled the necessary furniture with the same great attitude and we are happy to report ...without a scratch on anything. Moving can be a daunting and expensive experience and that's why I'm glad I found a reasonably priced and customer service minded company like Jayhaulit.

There prices have gone way up since the last time I used them. They have a two hour minimum, $400 for two movers. Luckily, I scheduled right before they increased their rates for this time of year to $600 for two hours and two movers. They did end up sending three movers without any extra charge. They were are to schedule quick service on a weekday and were right on time.

When they looked at the load to move and the fragile items, he stated that wrapping and unwrapping does take time, and the time estimate was accurate. When you are paying a high dollar rate per extra hour, it helps to have an estimate of your final bill. All the furniture was moved without any issue or damage, delivered, unwrapped, and put in place as requested. Best part, they smile the whole time =) Check out the pics of wrapped furniture!!

I called them up a couple of weeks ago. They did a virtual walk through with me and gave me a fair price. I checked the price against 3 other larger companies. Theirs was the best. On the day of packing, the crew showed up and got right to work. They were super Excellent. They returned the next day to actually move my things to my new home. They showed up with a crew 2x the size of the packing crew and got the job done....door to door...in just under 7 hours. I was extremely impressed with the speed and professionalism and respect that they showed me and my family. It was cool that a lot of the crew had military ties.
