Unfortunately my one year old daughter became ill the day before my appointment and I was unable to contact the office . I was told they refuse to see me again due to missed appointment. I asked kindly due to the situtaion would they allow me to reschedule as a "one time courtesy." Never received a call back. I recieved a letter in the mail stating there policy is after the THIRD missed appointment, you may be discharged from the practice, but nothing about missing ONE appointment. Very dissapointing. Would not recommend to others. They even went as far as saying that I physically spoke to someone the day before my appointment to confirm, when I truly did not. Not to mention I waited three months for this appontment , not knowing my baby would become ill the day before.

I need more stars for Dr. Metzger and the whole practice!…read more Made the switch a few years ago and I seriously wonder why I waited so long.. empathetic, knowledgeable, friendly, detailed.. Took amazing care of me during my not so eventful pregnancy that turned into a scheduled c section because baby wasn't cooperating.. never felt calmer about going under the knife.. (p.s. Did a plastic surgeons job on the incision..) Follow up care has been amazing, spending time to talk about anything and everything I had questions about. Thrilled to have such a wonderful team of people (from front desk, nurses, techs and doctors) on my side!

There is only one doctor in the office at a time, so I've never been kept waiting more than 5 minutes past my appointment time. It's a very clean office and the whole staff is pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable. I live in Hamden but choose to come to this office because it is run much better than the Hamden office. Unfortunately recommending an iud, and then doing an unannounced cervical biopsy right before insertion with no pain meds. Brutal is an understatement. Not big on listening to urogynocological concerns, or on concerns of very heavy bleeding seriously. No hormone therapy offered ever, I'm still a patient but not a happy one.

I am a two time women's cancer survivor so connecting with a gynecologist is paramount and she fits all my needs. Her staff is very warm and welcoming as soon as you come in to the office and make you feel a part of the "family" right away.
