I haven't been back to get an exam since. I am 49 now. I was looking for a Dr. And saw she was still in the same practice. Her reviews are accurate. She should be jailed for her behavior in my opinion. The scars she left on me at such a young age still have not healed. I cannot stress enough how bad she is. Do Not See This Woman. She should have her license pulled. Shame on her. I hope she reads this. I hope she sees that she had such a negative impact on a young woman that almost 30 years later this woman is still traumatized by her. This dr was the worse I have ever seen. She walked in and I can not even explain the look she gave…read moreme. Asked me no questions at all. Had her back to me as I spoke to her and dismissed what I said with " we are done for today." As she did my ultrasound, she did not speak to me. Did not get a clear image and said, " I see a sac but that's all." Maybe when you come back the other dr will try. " Then told me, " you can clean yourself up." Did not offer me anything to clean the gel off with. Also did not wear gloves at all. I have had no issues with anyone else in the office. This woman will not touch me again. Ever.

Booked an appointment as a new patient. Arrived at appointment fifteen minutes early to do…read morepaperwork. Sat for an hour and never got called. The entire time I could hear the medical secretary booking surgical appointments and saying peoples names out loud. Seems like a huge privacy violation. Between the crappy customer service and huge wait, I chose to leave. Not a good way to gain new patients and earn trust.

I need more stars for Dr. Metzger and the whole practice!…read more Made the switch a few years ago and I seriously wonder why I waited so long.. empathetic, knowledgeable, friendly, detailed.. Took amazing care of me during my not so eventful pregnancy that turned into a scheduled c section because baby wasn't cooperating.. never felt calmer about going under the knife.. (p.s. Did a plastic surgeons job on the incision..) Follow up care has been amazing, spending time to talk about anything and everything I had questions about. Thrilled to have such a wonderful team of people (from front desk, nurses, techs and doctors) on my side!

I recently had a pre-op ultrasound scheduled at the Wallingford location, which was so convenient…read more(it was nice not to drive to New Haven or Branford!). As someone who has undergone IVF, I've had many ultrasounds and I have to say this was the nicest and most comfortable I've been having one done! There was soft music, ambient lighting, and the technician, JS, was so very supportive and reassuring. I don't know if she realizes how much her kind demeanor and words meant to me that day. The staff here are absolutely top notch. I love my primary provider Dr. Aziz and trusted her implicitly with the life altering decision of a hysterectomy. I've also seen Dr. Bruno, Joan Messner, and Michelle Plyler...all with excellent bedside manner and compassion. I'd also like to mention Doreen who has been my chaperone many times and is also the administrator, she's always so kind and caring when I'm at the office! I was excited to see Dr Maria Rhee after I was reffered to her office by a longtime patient of…read morehers. Unfortunately my one year old daughter became ill the day before my appointment and I was unable to contact the office . I was told they refuse to see me again due to missed appointment. I asked kindly due to the situtaion would they allow me to reschedule as a "one time courtesy." Never received a call back. I recieved a letter in the mail stating there policy is after the THIRD missed appointment, you may be discharged from the practice, but nothing about missing ONE appointment. Very dissapointing. Would not recommend to others. They even went as far as saying that I physically spoke to someone the day before my appointment to confirm, when I truly did not. Not to mention I waited three months for this appontment , not knowing my baby would become ill the day before.
