I am six months pregnant (25 weeks at the time) and alone because my husband moved to PA for a job. I was left with 70% of the house to pack and of course needed help. We agreed to get a U-Haul and hire movers to put the stuff in the truck, then my husband would fly back down to NC to drive the truck. After doing searching reviews on both google and yelp, I contacted a few different companies for a quote. Box & Dolly/Mr. Gibbs reached out to me via phone to communicate his services and rate. He was personable but also very transparent and straight forward about his fee which was 1 flat hourly rate. The day of move, Mr. Gibbs and two other men got there 15 mins early and I was able to show them what needed to stay/go. They laid down a runners throughout the house (to not damage the floor) and got to work. He quickly realized there was something wrong with the U-Haul when he started it to move it. I called U-Haul and got the most wasteful runaround for about 30 mins. Mr. Gibbs picked up the phone and called the U-Haul on Bragg Blvd and was able to get an emergency switch within 2 minutes. Again, I was alone, so Mr. Gibbs offered to give me a ride to the U-Haul. The truck BEARLY went over 30 mph and sounded like it was on the brink of exploding. Mr. Gibbs drove the truck to the Bragg Blvd location and even negotiated an upgrade (larger truck) on my behalf for the inconvenience. At the end, he did not charge me for the almost hour and a half it took to switch the truck out. There's no doubt in my mind that if I hired another moving company, they would have loaded the faulty truck and it would have been our problem after that. There was absolutely no way the first truck was going to make it out of my driveway once it was loaded. To say I highly recommend this company is an understatement. They also took special care to wrap and disassembled furniture. They also were meticulous about packing the truck. When we arrived in PA, our items had not shifted and was not damaged.

The name and window decor can certainly lead you to guess what the shop is all about. Meme style jokes and puns with pop culture insider references abound on the many print outs that can be seen just from the front sidewalk. Inside, the senses are basically assaulted with color and variety. In the standard arrangement, rows of comic boxes line the tables in the center of the shop. This is for browsing only, not seating. The seating is limited primarily to the bar style, high-top running along the front window. A TV mounted high in the corner will no doubt play various popular and relevant shows and movies non-stop. As for the merch, other than comics, there's a good selection of books, manga, figures, Pokemon and Magic cards, stickers, Legos, jewelry, and so much more. In the evenings on weekends they clear the tables and make room for both board games and tabletop card games. As anyone involved in these hobbies can attest, you will eventually be parched and famished before the night is over. Well, you're in luck, because true to its name, they're also a cafe. Plenty of snacks and drinks abound here, plus even a few more prepared items are available to stave off a grumbling gut and fill your HP meter. I was short on time, but will need to stop back in soon (of course I will be back). Some Big Lots will be designated as a "Big Lots furniture". This one is not, but they had quite a large selection of furniture. I am looking for some smaller decorative tables and they had a few I liked. I don't think they were overly huge bargains, but I still liked the style. One particular employee was particularly nice - she noticed I was taking pics and I told her why. She handed me an application for the Buzz Club Reward card - of course I already have one, but I thought that was kind and she was very friendly! If you are going to shop here at all, enroll in the club because you accumulate savings and I occasionally will receive emails w/ bigger discounts. I will visit this location again soon!

(I am 57 years old now.) Hamrick's is my go-to place for reasonably priced, work-appropriate, professional, well-made clothing. They have plenty of employees at this location that are friendly, knowledgeable about their brands and professional. They make you feel appreciated. Refreshing indeed! Headed there today, as a matter of fact, and they are all the way across town. Definitely worth the drive! Highly recommend!
