    For our move in, the company arrived around 9:30am and charged us in advance for a full day'swork. In the end, they left without telling us a little after 12:00. In other words, we paid for a whole day and they only stayed for 3 hours. I didn't want to pay in advance, but they forced me to: if I didn't, they'd leave with my things (!!!) They did everything they could to pressure us into paying directly. It was agreed that they would help us reassemble the furniture they had disassembled themselves. Nothing was done. It took us 3 days to find all the parts needed to reassemble beds and other items. We had asked for the boxes to be placed directly in the rooms where they were to go. This was not done. They threw everything into the garage and the few rooms downstairs. I have 5 herniated discs and my wife is pregnant. We had to call in third parties to help us assemble the furniture and move the boxes. The boxes were very badly packed. We have a lot of broken objects. The movers simply threw everything into the boxes without paying any attention. Screws and a vacuum cleaner were thrown at our 10-month-old son's birth mementos. Many of these mementos are simply destroyed. And this is just a tiny example of what happened. Most of our belongings are objects made by mid-century designers such as Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier,...). Before the move, we asked for all our objects, without exception, to be protected and wrapped. Nothing was done, and now we're bemoaning the damage. When we moved in, we asked the team manager to protect the floors and fragile corners. This is what they had done during the move from ourprevious home. The manager, Mike, refused categorically. The result was a lot of damage, even though the house had just been renovated. The manager Mike was rude, condescending, insulting and racist towards us throughout their intervention. Several third parties offered to witness these degrading scenes. My wife cried all day and took several days to recover from this attitude. On top of that, the sight of all her damaged and broken belongings simply drove her into a depression. In addition, they give you a quote said flat rate (according to their website). We ended up paying twice the estimate! Most of the boxes had no names !!!!!, and valuables were stolen too. Several boxes are missing, and no packing list has been given to us. Damages and broken furnitures amount to thousands of dollars. Vintage armchairs are irreplaceable, lamps broken into thousands of pieces. We're going to court because such a lack of respect and professionalism is unacceptable.

    unresponsive business, does not return phone calls. tried multiple times, definitely a red flag.

    After submitting my inquiry for movers on Yelp (with super late notice - I needed service the very…read morenext day!!), I received quite a few estimates from other companies, and Best Price Movers BY FAR offered the best price for the 3 hours needed. Total came to $421 in case competitors are curious. And that included the fee for distance and travel time for 30 minutes and TWO stops with the truck!!! And I am happy to report that they did a fabulous job today. The two guys who came to move my things arrived within the quoted timeframe window and worked so hard. They were also very personable which was a plus since people can be weird; these guys were NOT! They had some issues backing the truck into my narrow parking area but then again so would I, given that truck's size! The only disappointment was that they couldn't remove the TV mount from the wall which would probably have required a socket wrench, but they did get the TV off of the mount. I understood the liability so I'm going to have a friend help me with that later this week. Even my parents were surprised by the deal I got. So yes, I would recommend Best Price Movers and their yellow truck to anyone I know who wants to shop smart and save their backs.

They were very efficient and very fast but the woman I spoke with prior to the move ensured me there would be 4-5 wardrobe boxes for all of my hanging clothes, they only brought one. I had to make 3 more trips in my personal car to pick up the rest of my clothes which defeats the purpose of hiring movers. I messaged the woman back on Yelp about this and she left me on read with no offers of a solution for over a year. About a year later I decide to give them another chance and bring up the issue with the wardrobe boxes before. She offers a $50 discount and this time I arrange for 3 people to come and move me from a first floor apartment to a single story home. The most inefficient move I have ever experienced, they took longer to move than when I lived on the third floor and the guys had to wait for the elevator. They moved at a glacial pace and I ended up paying for 3 guys for the same amount of time as it took the first time I moved. On top of all of this they didn't wear gloves or wash their hands so my light furniture has black handprints on it from the moving dust on their hands. One of the guys dragged a piece of furniture and broke off a leg and I watched him use a piece of plastic to wedge the leg back in. Very unprofessional movers in my opinion, only one guy was taking his job seriously and trying to get me moved quickly the other two just lingered around waiting for him to move and package all my things. I didn't see a point in reaching out about the damage or the handprints as the customer service had already proved once your move is complete they could not care less about you. I'm happy I'm in a home I purchased so I never have to experience these movers again.

On the plus side, the two guys who came to my house, Ferdinand and Green, hustled from start to finish and it was over 5 hours total for loading, transport and unloading. On the down side, the sales process while smooth and very corporate, lacked some communication with their team on the ground. For example, the booking team specifically said to leave drawers in dressers. The movers were shocked as they would always prefer less weight. Would I use them again? Probably. But I would prefer an actual mover to do the estimate instead of someone over the phone sight unseen. Even a FaceTime or similar video app that would allow for a visual could go a long way towards aligning everyone's expectations.

I booked a move with their representative, Jason, to relocate three storage units into a senior living community. Despite providing specific details and signing an agreement for an 11 AM - 3 PM window, the company failed to honor nearly every verbal and written commitment. I took time off work based on a discussed 12 PM start time, yet at 1:08 PM, no one had contacted me. When I reached Jason, the schedule "shifted" multiple times in a single phone call--first to 1 PM, then to 3 PM--contradicting our agreement. To make matters worse, the estimated labor time suddenly jumped from 3 hours to 5 hours without explanation. Because they could no longer meet the timeline required to vacate my units by month-end, I cancelled and requested a refund of my $199 deposit. They refused, claiming it was non-refundable despite the fact that they breached the service window. A mover eventually called me an hour after I cancelled, admitting a last-minute job had been prioritized over my advance booking. This company lacks basic communication between the office and the field, showing a complete disregard for their clients' time, wages, and finances.
