We recently moved from IL to WA. I called several moving services, and got the usual run-around. They either couldn't do it because it was "too small", had many hidden charges, or the best one was their quoted price on the phone was twice the advertised price on their web site! Their explanation was that the site probably wasn't really them. Anyway, I called Hello Movers, and was pleasantly surprised by an articulate, polite and straight forward quote. They said that they would accommodate any size move, and delineated fees, time frame, policy right up front. There were no surprises! Contract e-mailed, and, no up-front fee, just a credit card number to hold the date and time. A follow up e-mail and courtesy call were given. Moving day, the movers called and said they were running a little late. They were very polite, professional, and apologetic. I said that was fine, my fiancé and I would have time to go out to lunch. They called before we got back from lunch, and told us they were in the driveway. Anyway, the actual moving experience was sublime. Professional, polite, friendly, well spoken (not the usual mumbled grunts I have gotten with other movers). And wow, talk about hustle! Super-fast and not one item was damaged. Just perfect. One more thing, when they had finished with the truck, they saw my fiancé struggling with boxes from her car. They grinned at each other, walked up to her car, and asked if she would let them help her!! They took her boxes, and ran all of them up to the apartment so as not to go into overtime! So, bottom line, nearly half the price of any other company, no hidden charges, pure professionalism. My movers were the absolute bomb! I rate this move a 25 out of a possible 10!! read more

I needed to relocate back to Minneapolis, Minnesota after moving here a year ago.Florida just wasn't a good fit for me but I had to live here in the element to fully grasp the Florida lifestyle.I asked my 19 year old to look up some reputable interstate moving companies. She chose Hello Movers.I called and reached someone right away.She asked me how many rooms, what furniture and what floor I was residing on.Really just pertinent questions having to to with moving.She gave me a quote and emailed me the information for review.I was given the options with regard to payment, deposit fee and what have you.I opted just to pay up front because the female staff person I was working with was so friendly,professional and personable.I called on a Thursday and was able to get a pick up date for Saturday.I was thrilled and fortunate I was able to get an appointment that soon.Saturday the movers arrived promptly and called,texted prior to arrival and once at my residence. Then they will continue to change the price after loading up your items, so you can't get your items back off the truck, then they charge you even more when they deliver it and they will hold your items hostage and threatened to take it back to storage and charge you a daily storage fee until you pay them. When they send you an email with your original quote there is a "View Quote" button in the email you have to select to see your quote, while you think you have your quote in writing when you go back to view the quote again, they have deleted the original quote and added a new one. You won't be able to find your original quote. Make sure with any company you get everything in writing I mean everything, packing supplies, fuel etc. they told us several times it was included but then they said they never said that. Take pictures of every correspondence before it magically disappears. Every piece of furniture we had the legs were not properly covered and every one is scratched up and these were antique pieces. This company has these deceitful practices in place from the get go, so they are aware what they are doing and don't care. Warning not to use them, I can't recommend an honest moving company so make sure you read reviews from various sites, companies place false positive reviews to try to counter the negative. My family and I moved from a 4 bedroom flat to a mansion in the OH. We booked a giant truck and three movers whose names were Harry and Jack. Everything went thriving, although my building's elevator were not working yet their professionalism didn't let any damage to the goods. Luckily Harry and Jack were professional, and made the half move through stairs. They were able to work even around the complications. They wrapped most of our furniture and boxed our personal belongings. But, we needed a few extra items to be wrapped when the movers arrived. The movers did an excellent job wrapping while they seamlessly continued moving everything else to the truck. The whole process was a lot of work and they all three did it with a smirk face, the whole time. When we arrived at the new place, these three placed the items where they needed to go, didn't cause any damage to the house or items while moving in, and worked energetically to get things done in a timely manner. They filled up the entire truck packed. And then unpacked at the new house. These three made it feel like a pretty straight forward process. After hunting around for a good moving company and getting a few quotes, we decided to go with Hello Movers. They were really friendly and helpful on the phone and on email. Thomas handled my international move from FL to NY, as well as moving contents locally from a storage unit into my house. I chose Hello Movers simply because my employer offered direct billing with them. I was very pleased with the whole process. I assigned a manager who oversaw the whole process. He engaged to assess, pack, and remove my items and stayed informed during the whole process. The moving team was very fast, clean, and professional. My first contact with the agent Samuel making my reservation, assessing the logistics of my move, and developing a reasonable and realistic estimate for the cost of moving my belongings from FL to NJ. I knew I could rely on the quality of Hello Movers service, and I was not disappointed at all. On the day of my move, the movers Samuel and Jack arrived on time and ready to work. They were very helpful, courteous, and informative throughout the job. They assisted me in wrapping my more delicate items and were very efficient in loading them into the truck. Well done! The amazing moving company sent us three real pros. Jack and others were so respectful of our antiques and all our items. We are in our 60s and this has been a stressful move because I and my wife couldn't pack up the entire stuffs. But these professionals truly saved our life. They went above and beyond to pack up quickly and securely and unpack our items in each separate room of the house, which saved us so much time and made moving in a breeze instead of a hassle. UPDATE My experience with Hello Movers LLC started off rocky, but I want to acknowledge the positive outcome that followed. Initially, there were serious concerns: nearly $1,500 worth of fragile and valuable items, including crystal and artwork, were damaged during the move due to poor packing practices. Communication was slow in the aftermath, and at one point it seemed like my concerns weren't being taken seriously. However, I am pleased to say that the owner personally reached out to me and took the time to address the situation. After discussing the damage, he offered a fair and reasonable settlement, which I accepted. Most companies would take your stuff from one home to the next and then leave you to do the rest. This company despite the fact that it is not their job stayed back and helped assemble all of the things that needed to be done. They made sure that all the things in the house were set just how I liked it, which took time. I have two young girls that couldn't seem to get their rooms right and they were very patient with them to make sure that it was exactly how they wanted it. Hello Movers did a great job! I originally reserved them for a Sunday move. Our closing didn't happen like it was supposed to on Friday and it got pushed to Monday. I called them and had no issue moving our scheduled date to Tuesday of the same week. On Sunday, Mike the dispatcher texted me and said they would arrive between 8 and 10 AM. I was so upset because my husband and I are both teachers and we already took 2 days off from school. I really needed this move to be in the afternoon. After about 20 minutes, Mike got back to me and said he would schedule me for the afternoon. I told him how appreciative I was and he told me, "Anything for my clients." On Tuesday, I got a text saying they were on their way. They charged me for 2 guys, but showed up with 3. They got the job done in the minimum amount of time they charged me for and they did not charge me for the extra guy. They were polite, courteous, and professional. Our experience with Hello Movers company was superb. They provided all of our boxes at a discount price (we packed ourselves) and were helpful with all of our questions and concerns. On the day they were extremely polite and helpful. We were moving out of a third-floor flat with no lift. They had no complaints but got straight on with the job. Wow! I have too many good things to say about this company ESPECIALLY the crew provided to me, Kendrick and DeShawn! I am a petite woman with very little capability and when I say they made this move a BREEZE. From assisting with my last minute packing (little forgotten things) to asking me how and where I wanted my furniture at the new place. The job started at 10am and ended just before 2:30 with an hour and a half drive in between apartments. To further this, They were extremely respectful, kind and patient with me. They monitored all my belongings, such as my couch, coffee table, and eating table with six chairs. I couldn't believe how careful they were with every little thing. They protected my walls and floors by noticing even the smallest scratches and using corner protectors for my furniture. Because each box was clearly marked and the packing superb, it was very easy to open the boxes. They worked very skillfully and ensured that my belongings were safe because they were very cautious. The moving experience I had was surprisingly delightful, thanks to a team that truly went above and beyond. I was worried about moving my collection of board gams vintage records and oddly shaped art pieces! But these folks were total pros. They came in wearing matching uniforms and had a toolkit that looked like it belonged in a gadget museum everything you could possibly need. Each box was taped up with precision and they included a funny doodle on the top of some boxes, which brightened my day.
