My three year old experienced her first camp at HELLO DANCER! The owners, April and Thomas, as well as all of the staff at Hello Dancer, go above and beyond to make sure that every child and every parent is welcomed warmly. From the bright colored walls to the smiling faces, you just feel all of the positive energy when your walk through the doors!!! While class is in sessions, there are multiple teachers to assist in caring for you're child. As I watched from the one way glass, I saw an instructor who was also a mom, walking around and making sure that every child was engaged and felt comfortable during the class. Hello Dancer gives a child a stress free, Loving environment where a child can learn to "move, wiggle, giggle, smile, twirl, leap" and much, much more!! Thanks, Hello Dancer for giving children the opportunity to love dance and build confidence while also letting them experience a little bit of magic through all the fun activities that you incorporate! read more

I can't say enough good things about Hello Dancer! This crew is so friendly and so accommodating, you'll wish you were in the classes with the kids. The space is teeming with bright colors, creating a fun, welcoming, and happy environment for the kiddos to dance. As an academic in early childhood development research, I am in awe of April's teaching philosophy, her demeanor, and her overall outlook on this experience. You can tell she truly cares about the kids, and she wants them to BE KIDS and HAVE FUN, all while easily learning a beautiful skill. We will be lifelong proponents of Hello Dancer! read more

Hello Dancer is a magical dance studio where children learn how to dance while having a blast! It’s all about proper technique and smiling! If you don’t love what you do then why do it!! There seems to have been a lot of infrastructure improvements over recent years, there are very nice concrete RV Sites with full hookup, the entrance road into the park is a little rough requiring you to mostly travel at idle speeds. There is a large boat launch and parking lot located before you get to the park's entrance so the traffic pattern inside the park is free of boat trailers and tow vehicles. There are plenty of covered pavilions for picnicking and getting out of the sun as well as a nice concrete area at the end of the park designed for fishing and crabbing and it seemed like a lot of the visitors were here for that. There was absolutely no cellular service on most of the drive in and inside the park so plan ahead, maybe your service provider will have better results. I also recommend you fuel up before coming here I did not see any convenient stores or fueling options along the 18 mile drive once we took the exit off LA90. It's a beautiful setting and seems to be a popular area for boating, fishing and camping with a Louisiana vibe...
