I utilized this place so much that it became second nature to just meander over here for a walk. Once I found out that this could be used as a shortcut. I made sure to use this very often. A lot of the places I visited I could get to by going through here. However, there is one downside. The hours of operation. This place closes down at a point that you can't go through here. Then the weekend it is less lively as well.

I needed this hub to be hotel accessible after my flight from Virginia. Nevertheless, some of everything is in here. Eateries, sweets and a drug store are located all within walking distance. I visited CVS and Chick-fil-A. Both places the service was effortless. You can choose to sit here or get your items and keep it moving. You can catch the Marta (rail system) here too. I believe a one way pass is $2.50. Overall, this hub is super convenient. And you'll have access to at least two hotels. I'm staying at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and having this hub is a big plus! Parking... I have no idea how it works. But I encourage walking and using the Marta. Exercise caution at all times. Well there's an advertisement about picking up a swag bag once you show the Concierge desk your Yelp review... I tried but it seems no one knew anything about this perk or the sign. As you could probably guess, I did not walk away with any HUB swag. Have fun and enjoy life.

Here too similar to Lennox there's a lot of parking that has been prohibited for anyone to park for free and rather it's being reserved for you to pay for valet parking. So if you're lucky, you'll find a good spot. At this mall, there is a sax Fifth Avenue but there is no Neiman Marcus. This mall also has the Hermes store which was the real reason for the visit. However, it's proximity to the Nobu hotel and the Noble restaurant is also very convenient. I will say this place is filled with security, which is really impressive and it is sad though that there are quite a few stores in here that are still empty looking for tenants. But if you're looking for super high-end and Neiman Marcus and Lennox Malk doesn't meet your criteria drive a little bit further less than a mile away and you are exactly where you need to be. I loved being here. The ambience is fantastic. I just wish they had more choices for food and more stores in the empty spaces.

As you walk up to the store customers can see pictures, shirts, hats, jewelry and more from the outside windows, and once you walk in you can see just how fantastic this store is inside. The store is home to jewelry and artwork from local artists. Everything about this store screams Atlanta. Literally everything. Pretty much all merchandise have Atlanta logos or have the Atlanta skyline or blueprints of the city. As I walked around the store, the attendant was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the local artists showcased. The attendant stated that she helped manage many of the items purchased in the store and she was a huge influence on my purchase. Since I made a recent move I went for a local candle with a linen fragrance. *Candle: Gleam Living soy candle - Linen ($24.00) The Gleam Living candle came in a basic clear jar with package information located on the bottom of the candle. The lid is made of wood, and underneath the lid is a small sticker with the Gleam Living logo. The second and third reason why I was attracted to the candle was the fragrance and the wooden wick. Personally I understand the necessity of a good candle, and generally a good candle comes with a decent price. However, once I got home and decided to burn this candle I quickly became disappointed. The wooden wick would not stay lit long enough to enjoy the aroma. Overall this store deserves an B+. I enjoyed the store and all of the items in the store, the attendant was insightful and a delight to interact with, and I appreciated the local artwork. Pitfalls, the candle from Gleam living was difficult to light and to stay lit.

The person working the register said hello when I came in and went back to looking at their computer screen. But once I was no longer in view, the person came to do a circle around the area where I was standing and said, "I'm doing inventory." GIRL, BYE. I'm an auditor by profession and I know what conducting an inventory looks like. Also, people just doing their job do their jobs without explanation required. There were some other things this person did and overall, it was an ugly experience. I haven't been profiled in a long time and it still feels gross and reminds me how awful people can be. I found something special for my friend, and I bought it. I also bought it for myself because after this experience I needed something soothing too. I won't let one person change my mind about a place I shopped at for years but if I see this person when I walk in, I'm turning around and leaving. HomeGrown has great gifts if you want something locally-made that feels special. And in all these years, this is the only time I've experienced anything like this so I'll likely be back.
