The food was fresh and delicious! Prices equally as good. If you're looking for a quick and yummy meal, this place is a sure bet! Hopefully they'll be around for years to come!

After trying a number of restaurants I always seemed to end back here and eventually was skipping breakfast in the hotel and dinning here instead. The interior was delightfully decorated with a couple of typical Greek pillows. It was all pretty informal without the waiters being to fussy. They have a constant flow of customers either sitting down for a meal, being served at the counter for a take out or being served outside through a serving window. Much of the custom was for fast food which was all to a high standard (no donna kebab rubbish) The meals were on display from behind the glass counter and nothing was left to fester. Average meal worked out something like £5 - £8 depending on how many drinks I asked for. The service was very good. This is defiantly a safe place to dine with good food. The outdoor seating was really pleasant on the early summer night I dinner in. The servers were friendly and fluent in English which is helpful to tourists. The menu is very large which made it quite hard to narrow down my options but I knew I wanted to start with a humus so I tried the sun dried tomato blend which was absolutely lovely. The pita served alongside was so soft and warm. For the main, I tried the chicken tagine and enjoyed it thoroughly. The blend of spices was fragrant and flavorful. It was also very large and could easily be split between two people! I loved the food so much and wish to return next time I visit Krakow!

I rarely go to this part of town, but I had passed this place several times and thought to myself,…read more"Hmmm, it looks nice in there, I must try it sometime." I finally got the opportunity. The name of the restaurant translates to Kitchen Garden and the interior is decorated to look like the narrow lanes of some Mediterranean paradise. There are wooden tables, comfy white chairs, various pictures, plants and wine bottles that add to the vibe. The restaurant is located on Przemysłowa (Industrial Street) and view across the street to various decrepid-looking warehouses isn't exactly inspiring. However, the interior of the restaurant more than makes up for the poor location. The menu has quite a good range. This is good, I hate those places that only offer a few options under the pretence of "only doing a few things well." Without too much umming and aahing I chose the penne pasta with chicken and chorizo. My drink, a homemade iced tea, soon arrived along with a basket with a few freshly-baked rolls and some very expensive-looking olive oil and balsamic vinegar. When the meal turned up I was slightly disappointed. Although the plate was quite large the area for the food seemed to be a little on the small side and was unlikely to satisfy my hunger. I also commented to my dinner companion that it looked like something I could prepare myself. It seems that I was a little too judgemental as it turned out to be a damned fine meal. With the smell of the bread and the parmesan tempting me I could hardly wait to tuck in. The pasta was in a nice creamy sauce, but not too rich or sickly though. The pieces of chicken were accompanied with small pieces of sundried tomato (yes, it's so 1980's, but oh so tasty) and spinach. Also to add to the scrumptiousness of the meal there were tiny pieces of almost raw onion, which gave the meal some fabulous crunchiness. I couldn't for the life of my see any pieces of chorizo in my meal, but to be honest I didn't really care. For dessert I chose the tiramisu. It was good, but not exceptional. Overall the restaurant, food and service was very good. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, "I'll be back!"
