You have to look really hard, and know it's there, to tell where the wallboard was replaced. They even closely matched the ceiling pattern! The team was phenomenal, polite, friendly, helpful and skilled. An all around exceptional experience. Value was very good too. Luis sent his guys over to resolve the issue, but instead of properly addressing the true issue, they glued the planks down. As time passed, more planks started to come up. I expressed this discovery to Luis and nothing.... not a response, not an explanation, just a read text message. He doesn't return phone calls, nothing. He's there in the moment, fools you into thinking all is well, and just cuts you off. Be careful and do your homework before hiring Morningstar Restoration. These guys aren't true professionals, just a bunch of his friends that have some experience. Not to mention, they used 2 different brands of vinyl planks, prompting them to modify one type to align with the other. Per true professionals, this was a lazy and cheap installation. The fact that I have to call Luis from random numbers to get a response, the fact that he's aware of my issue and won't even acknowledge me... this is what speaks to his character. When hiring this company, please make sure you understand his method, compare to other professional plans, and refine your warranty and expectations after services are complete.

Even though I wasn't the homeowner, they made sure to communicate with me and keep me updated. The mediation team was prompt in getting the area cleared, dried out, and ready for reconstruction. Funny situation, we were staying at the rental because we had a house fire at our home. After our fire, Rainbow was one of the companies that we had come out and consult with us about our damage. The damage from the fire itself was isolated to one area, but smoke filled our entire house. When Chris told us all of the work it was going to take to repair our home and belongings, we thought he was crazy. How could a relatively small fire cause so much damage? We ended up going with a different contractor who didn't take such a radical approach in the beginning. It turns out that Chris was correct. All the work he mentioned did need to happen to our home. We are having to back pedal and disappointed in our choice in contactors. Throughout this process, Chris and Nick have offered their help and guidance as we have navigated insurance, contractors, and pack outs. They helped simply out of kindness. I find that kind of generosity rare and worthy of a 5-star review. I hope to never need their services, but if I am in a situation where I do in the future, I know who I will be calling.
