I did not understand why as I have an older car, have not been in any accidents and have received zero tickets while under state farm insurance. I called Manny's office last week, but no one answered. I called multiple times today, still no answer so I left a voicemail. I finally received a call after submitting an email through the state farm website begging someone to please reach out to me. The agent on the phone could not provide a legitimate reason for my premium increase although she acknowledged my clean record. She said "our premiums have gone up, that's why." I had plenty of time to do my research while waiting to speak to them and discovered I could be saving OVER $150 on my six month premium by switching to an insurance competitor for the exact same plan. The state farm agent on the phone didn't seem to care about keeping me as a customer and offered to cancel my auto payments so I could sign with a new insurance company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSURANCE AGENT. Find a company that actually answers the phone to interact with their clients and who doesn't unreasonably overcharge them.
