Yvonne put me at ease immediately and she gave me great advice. You know you are in safe hands when the hairdresser's own hair is stunning :) . Yvonne gave me a fabulous hair cut and I made a forward booking for before Christmas. Her salon is tucked away in the middle of the village and benefits from easy parking as well as lovely views so the whole experience was very relaxing. Yvonne's charges are very reasonable and she caters for all kinds of styles and ages. She also does home visits for customers not able to get out and about. The Works offers both Men's and Women's styling; it is a full service salon. There are places that may do a cut for a lot less, however, I was looking for a stylist and salon that could offer a more refined experience with attention to detail. When I arrived, my stylist greeted me on time and confirmed the services I was after before taking you to the sinks. Another salmon staff provided a relaxing shampoo and conditioner. The lady who cut my hair, Angelica, has worked independently for the shop for over 10 years. She was very friendly and my hair was just how I expected when she was through.
