The young male worker at Helados Santa Clara was so helpful in explaining the types of ice cream they have and offering samples. We ended up with a nut-laden pistachio for my son and mango with Chamoy for me. Chamoy is a sweet/sour/salty/slightly spicy fruit sauce made in Mexico and added to fresh fruit like mango. Well-the mango Chamoy flavor was so fruity and refreshing that I can't wait for the next time I go back. If you find yourself in the lovely city of Cuernavaca, do yourself a favor and try Santa Clara for a small but well curated selection of ice creams and sorbets.

She's a small-town busy body with nothing to do but look for reasons to be nasty to her customers. She belongs on a stoop in The Bronx, not selling ice cream in Valle De Bravo. We placed a simple order and she was still nasty for no reason, what a low-bred trashy beast. To add insult to injury the ice cream was clearly made from low fat milk that had gone bad and one of my friends got violently sick later this evening. Learn some manners!!!
