5 stars for my unique experience at Body Armor!…read more Long after receiving some not so great advice from Crazy Monkey Tattoos, I felt hopeless and finally scheduled an appointment with a dermatologist and stopped at Body Armor to take out my piercing that's been severely irritated for several months. Overall, I was very sad that it had come to this... My nape piercing is precious blue opal and is actually very well done. After consulting with their piercer, G, he felt the same. There I was on the chopping board when he kind of blew my mind by telling me he felt this piercing could be saved with H2Ocean. He informed me about the pros of H2Ocean and the cons of what I had been previously using to "treat" my irritation. So here I am several days later and, I must say, so far so good! It hasn't been long enough to know the final result, and regretfully, I've waited so long to treat it properly that some of the scarring may be permanent. However, if this keeps working like I hope it will, I will have saved more that $50 thanks to some great professional wisdom and a $8 can of "unicorn mist" a term coined by yours truly...Don't over think it. Most importantly, I can finally feel confident showing the nape of my neck again.

Phenomenal customer service. My earring holes appeared to have closed up during the pandemic, when…read moreI wasn't going out and subsequently wasn't putting on jewelry, and I finally made it down here to get my ears re-pierced. The piercer let me know that he thought he would be able to get them reopened without having to re-pierce, since he had some equipment that was much smaller than the average earring, and he was indeed able to do so and charged me much less to get my holes open again than it would have cost to re-pierce. I am presently sitting in the waiting room while a friend of mine gets some new jewelry put in, and I am once again reminded how incredibly warm and thoughtful and thorough the staff is. The person behind the counter did such a wonderful job. Patiently explaining options to my friend and to a couple of young girls and their mother. The jewelry here isn't inexpensive, but when it comes to permanent bodily alterations, you don't want to skimp out.

I can't say enough how good they are with kids. The jewelry is high quality. Plan on at least an hour & $100+. We were the 1st ppl at the shop. The line behind us grew quickly. After care is important. I get that. I could've used less of the repeating and repeating and repeating: not to touch, not to swim, do not change jewelry, etc. It's been about a month & she's healed w/o any swelling, redness, oozing, etc. She's still super excited to show off her earrings & loving them. Not my favorite that we have to return to the store when it comes time to change out jewelry. However, the shop is head & shoulders above the turn & burn service and cheap jewelry that you would get at Crossroads Mall. It is beyond apparent they care about my little person's wellbeing at Kitten Flower. That makes it worth the extra $$ for me.
