Motivated through past experience to settle for nothing less than a top provider, I consulted four candidates (Costco, Physicians' Hearing Service, Sound Advice and Hear.com, a very professional online provider) and tried out several devices over a three month period. Each practice had impressive qualities. As my search progressed, although I was also impressed by Hear.com's device (Horizon AX) and service model, it became evident that if the price were right, I'd buy mid-range Phonak devices from Dr. Nathan Lev, whose audiology practice has been getting rave reviews on Yelp since he established his business in 2010. In four visits with Dr. Lev, I never felt that I was under pressure to make a purchase. He listened carefully and answered thoroughly. Each meeting deepened my understanding of how properly fitted, high-tech hearing aids could repair my hearing deficit. To sum it up, I left with bloody ears and inaccurate ear molds because the people did them wrong. The ears are supposed to be cleaned of ear wax or the molds will not come out correctly. They did not clean my ears at all. When the first mold came out badly with an air pocket, the mold was done again correctly. However, the ear wax in my ear combined with the ripping out of the ear mold severely damaged my ear canal and caused it to bleed quite badly. To make matters worse, when I went to send in my ear molds for my hearing device I was notified that the one ear mold has an air pocket in it. So not only did the person injure my ear she also included the bad ear mold making everything pointless. I wasted my money and risked my own hearing all for nothing. If you don't want torn up ears and inaccurate ear molds then I highly advise you go somewhere else. I can't express how horrible this place is and I recommend no one risk their ears with this place.

It just felt like everyone's not happy and burned out from their job or they just lost the passion. I was called back pretty quickly and brought to another waiting room where I met Dr. Kerr. She's the reason why I gave a 4 star. The one star I docked off was because of the unwelcoming staff and the previous experience. Dr. Kerr did my ABR/VNG testing. She was absolutely the sweetest and kindest person there. Her energy and personality made my visit better than expected. The testing at the end was pretty rough and she was caring and patient with me through it all.

I've been dealing with chronic nasal obstruction due to allergies here in the valley. My allergist…read morereferred me to Dr. George Hsu after having an MRI that showed I had enlarged turbinates that was causing the obstruction. I had been dealing with this for more than 3 years hoping that OTC meds would help and I feared having surgery. I ended up accepting my fate and the necessity of the surgery. Making the appointment was easy over the phone. When I arrived they had a tablet that you fill out your intake which was so convenient and user friendly. Dr. Hsu was very thorough with his examination and explained everything to help me understand the risks and benefits. He administered Afrin so I could breathe better and then sent out my information to schedule for surgery at Saint Agnes. I had my preop appointment with him to discuss what the surgery will entail and post op recovery care. When I arrived for my surgery Dr. Hsu came to preop to go over the surgery again and answered all the questions I had. He reassured me that I'll be okay and I'll be able to breathe much better after I heal from surgery. Today (1 week postop appointment) he explained and prepared me for when he removes the splints in my nose. I asked if someone can record it and his sweet assistant came in to do it for me. It wasn't painful when it was removed it was a very odd feeling. Immediately after I was able to breathe from my nose which was such an amazing feeling. There's not enough words to describe how amazing Dr. Hsu is. I highly recommend him to anyone who has ENT needs. Thank you so much Dr. Hsu, truly changed my life for the better.

I was referred here to see Dr. John Kerr by my PCP. It took about 5weeks to get a call from them…read moreafter seeing my PCP and getting a referral sent. The staff member who called me to schedule an appt was pleasant to talk to and scheduling was easy. They were also able to accommodate the soonest date and time of my request. Few days prior to my appointment they sent out text reminders. The day of my appointment I was told to arrive 10mins early. There's plenty of parking. They are located on the 3rd floor of 6121 N Thesta. The lobby/waiting area is clean and there's plenty of seats. You check in by writing your name on the clip board and the lady at the front will call you. Once I was called she provided me with an iPad to fill out/ verify financial, history and demographics. Upon check in I had trouble finding my insurance card and she was very understanding, thankfully I found it and provided it to her to scan. Few mins later I was called back to the examination room. The lady who helped me was welcoming and she listened. Dr. Kerr shortly came in after her and he was very thorough, professional, friendly and kind he too listened and was able to help me in minutes. He checked my ear and was able to get the obstruction out quickly and gently. I was in and out of my appointment in 20mins. Overall I had a great experience, the staff and Dr. Kerr were all amazing! I do recommend and if ever needing any ENT support I would love to return here.

The office staff was insistent on me having a referral. I asked if they call the insurance and they said they do to verify benefits but I still need a referral for them to bill. Again, I told them that my insurance is not like all the Blue Cross Blue Shields that everyone here in the Valley has and I do not need a referral. They are way behind the times, they are absolutely difficulty to work with and can not get out of their robotic monologue that they are used to repeating on a daily basis.
