Beautiful floral shop that has a wide variety of houseplants, pots, succulents, large planters, cards & gifts in addition to making lovely floral arrangements and bouquets. While driving down 12th Street, the lush green plants in the window caught my attention. The next day I had to come back and check it out. The owner and those working there are so friendly in that small town way that doesn't exist in many places. Well it's on full display here! When I explained that I was trying to replace two orange bromeliads, they offered to order some for me. Bromeliads or any plant I need that is not in the store. When I mentioned that my large aloe is covered in white, scale fungus or mites, they informed me that it is lacking light . I've Googled this a dozen times and that never came up! Shopping here is as much about getting educated on how to care for your plants to as it is about finding a specific plant. The goal is for the plant to thrive long term. While perusing the shop, I noticed some planters filled with three or four indoor houseplants that would be a stunning gift or an arrangement for your own home. Especially the ones that had a pop of color from the African Violets. I may have to go back for one! All the plants were healthy and thriving. There were anthurium with waxy, shiny, red heart shaped leaves; snake plants that are so easy to maintain; lots of pathos that are super easy to grow; an assortment of orchids in multiple colors; and a plethora of succulents and air plants. The shop is small but everything is styled so nicely that they fit in a lot of inventory while still keeping it spacious so customers can easily make their way around. Loved everything about this shop! So happy to find a plant and floral shop in the heights of Hood River. read more

I'm seeing about a girl in Hood River so I needed to find a florist in this area. I actually found them on Yelp so good job fellow yelpers. Tammy's has fantastic customer service. Have ordered twice and my situationship seems to enjoy the flowers. Still situationing so I guess it's doing the trick. Low key have no idea what's happening there but the florist has been very accommodating each time. I don't foresee any reason for me to go anywhere else. They're very personable on the phone. They've delivered same-day each time. Even during a storm. Glad to see they're just as invested as I am in this Hood River girl. 5 stars. Bravo. Smash. Etc. read more

With only 9 days until my daughters wedding we figured out our other plans for florals would not work out. Although I live two counties over I decided to take a chance and call Tammy's because I have a lot of love for Hood River Businesses. I emailed and got a reply from Demi sayong she had no problem taking on my order including 12 centerpieces and all of the flowers for the bridal party. 9 days later the day of the wedding I showed up to pick them up. Not only was i surprised by how kind and sweet Demi was but the florals literally took my breath away. They exceded my expectations and when I got them to the venue and put them on the table I could not have been more thrilled. My daughter was also very happy with them. Thabks Demi. I will definitely come to you with ALL my floral needs. One last thing, bring cash to tip your florist. I was very disappointed that i was notified able to leave a tip on my card. Thanks again Carole read more

Imagine my disappointment when I found the perfect bouquet for my mother on one of those big online flowers website, only to discover that it was not offered in her area. As a bit of a Hail Mary pass, I called Tammy's Floral in my mom's hometown to see if they could possibly do anything like it. Mind you, the flower bouquet that I was determined to have delivered to my mother was no less than a tropical assortment of bright flowers and greens gorgeously arranged in a margarita glass... not exactly your everyday bouquet. Without hesitation, Tammy told me that she would be more than willing to try her best and track down a similar margarita glass for use in an arrangement. Within a few days, she had done it... I was ecstatic. I was thrilled that she and her staff went above and beyond their normal offerings to help me build the perfect arrangement. And the bouquet was OUTSTANDING. My mother said it was the most beautiful arrangement she had ever seen, and the margarita glass was cute to boot! I can't recommend Tammy's Floral enough. Thank you Tammy for an outstanding job! read more

I ordered an adorable arrangement for my husband, to celebrate our anniversary. I ordered through an online company but Tammy's Floral is who filled the order (made the arrangement and delivered it). The bouquet was delivered on time, which is why I gave two stars. That's the only positive thing I can say on behalf of my purchase though. The arrangement my partner received looked basically nothing like the arrangement I ordered...very pale in comparison to say the least. After I deconstructed the bouquet today to make something that looked decent, I wonder now if the arrangement was made from mostly scrap cuttings. It had a piece of this, a piece of that, some stems were MUCH too short for the vase, and a bunch of odd greenery and filler that wasn't supposed to be included. Nothing really matched and it was missing certain flowers that were supposed to be in the arrangement. Not only did the bouquet have different flowers and different greenery, but it measured inches smaller than what the description stated the recipient would receive! For being smaller than it was supposed to be, I would have expected the flowers to really be packed in there but it was quite the opposite. The bouquet looked very loose and empty. I'm disappointed to have to leave such a negative review but I can't imagine if this bouquet was being sent to show sympathy of someone losing their loved one or to actually show a gesture of romance. That would have been a total fail!!! Luckily, the bouquet was an attempt embarrass my hubby at work and not sent in a romantic sense. Thankfully, the online company I used to order the bouquet gave me a total refund, but I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for deliveries since you can't inspect your purchase before you send it to your loved one. read more

My wife suggested we celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with a getaway to the Columbia Gorge Hotel. I called the hotel about having flowers put in the room and they recommended Tammy's Floral. I called Tammy's, spoke with a very nice person who understood very well what I wanted. I ordered the big bouquet of a dozen red roses, my wife's favorite, and Tammy's had them in our room when we checked in, much to my wife's surprise. The flowers were spectacular and a BIG hit - thank you! read more

I'm always looking for fantastic local florists to help spread love and happiness. 4 Stars to this florist for doing just that, but not completely perfect because the medium-priced (and paid) arrangement is far from "flowers may vary upon season." Still a decent bouquet... "you look different than your picture online." read more

Tammy's Floral did a beautiful flower crown for a baby shower I hosted. They were extremely helpful over the phone as I had to order it remotely to pick up the day of the event. Tammys SAVED my wedding bouquet! I had ordered very over priced flowers from another florist (not in Hood River) and they were delivered on my wedding day a total mess (half dead/half not in bloom). I googled a local florist in Hood River walked into Tammy's with my husband to be and the WONDERFUL ladies working were so sweet and kind they ensured me all was going to be perfect and they could quickly fix me up the bouquet I was hoping for on my big day. An hour later I returned to find the perfect bouquet at the most reasonable price I could imagine. I live in Portland but needed a plant delivery in Hood River, so a Google search took me to Tammy's Floral. When I received a pic of what had been produced for the order I placed, I immediately expressed disappointment at seeing something not quite what I had expected, which was what I had seen at their website under Plants and ordered. Tammy's very quickly called me and was thoughtful, friendly, and wanting to do whatever she/they could to make me happy. Wow. You don't see that every day. I was literally taken aback a second when I answered the phone. Tammy beefed up my order and, evidently from her email delivered it herself. I saw a pic of version 2 and it was lovely, more what I'd thought it would be. That level of customer service is becoming harder to find. It was and is so very much appreciated and I would recommend Tammy's Floral to anyone looking for a job well done by a very nice bunch of folks. read more
