Shana is more than a life saver, she's also a business saver!…read more When I first contacted Shana, I was running a small business in California that desperately needed leadership coaching. I had started my company when I was 27 and had little to no leadership experience. We were successful but I felt that we could have done a lot better if we all were able to communicate better and support each other more. Now, I run a food business, in CT. Again, we are growing at a rapid rate and it's important to build our business with strong leadership and open communication. I then moved to Riverside and my San Diego HC therapist felt bad about my long drives, but its not easy finding someone you have a connection with, especially when this type of session is very intimate any you need to feel completely comfortable with the other person giving the treatment. I tried my best looking for a local place closer to Riverside. I tried multiple Hydro Colon Therapist and was about to give up and continue driving to San Diego. Then one day I saw a Groupon for "Healing Ways Spa," I called the number and had a very knowledgeable conversation with Terry, the therapist. When I met Terry she was very welcoming and by far I've had my best Hydro Colon Therapy sessions with Terry and I've been getting these treatments for almost 20 years now. Just know, no matter how amazing the HC therapist is, you may not always release on your first session. Hence why I NEVER "JUST DO ONE." I always do a series of 3 as back to back as possible and I've had my best sessions when I've been juicing for at least 3 days prior to my session and continue to juice while I'm going through my series. Terry can explain this in-depth. Most of all, relax, release, and rejoice that you are now fully loving your body from the inside out . She is extremely knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable, allowing us to be more transparent with each other. We have done counseling sessions before but this program was very different. The individual assessment test given in the beginning allowed Jenni to provide feedback on our strengths and weaknesses and highlight growth areas that needed improvement. I would not recommend Patricia Chan to anyone. My family hired Patricia to provide both in person…read moreand online therapy sessions - her services were unprofessional and biased. For insight on this, as well as to how she responds to criticism, take a look at how she responds to negative reviews on Yelp. She routinely hides behind her "Board of Directors" when it comes to any complaint. She commonly responds to concerns with statements like, "all decisions are made by the board" and "I have to ask the board" - however, public records show that she's the only director. It was a struggle to obtain any kind of billing records from her and her team as they were extremely unhelpful and uncommunicative. She was, however, happy to take almost $7000 from us. My family had to obtain therapy from a different, more reputable therapist because of the trauma went through with Patricia Chan. We considered reporting her but decided we wanted to wash our hands clean of the trauma and move forward with healing instead. If you're considering her services, please do your research and find a therapist with the right credentials for your individual situation. Understanding the differences between LCSW, LMFT and PsyD will be very helpful. UPDATE: I had photos of my receipts and her business name filing showing her being the only director. Patricia Chan got my photos deleted and responded to this review (in the third person - in all other responses, she responds directly). She's also using the "this person was never a client" excuse and (passive aggressively) claiming defamation. Again, she provided therapy for members of my family - not me directly - that I paid for. There are many situations where this might happen, including but not limited to: a parent obtaining therapy for a child; a child obtaining therapy for an elderly parent; etc. But I'm not surprised she used that excuse, as that was the same excuse that was made when attempting to resolve this issue at the time of conflict. There's also a difference between defamation and sharing a negative experience regarding interactions with a business - this is my honest review of my family's experience with Patricia Chan/LiveWell Therapy. I'm happy to provide copies of my receipts and emails (me communicating directly with Chan) for anyone else having issues with this business - feel free to message me. Additionally, anyone can do a public business search for LiveWell Therapy on: https://bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov/search/business Click on "View History" and to see the Statement of Information, showing Patrica Chan as the only person on the Board of Directors.
