This was my first time here and we stayed two weeks. The people working at the hotel were friendly enough. Our room was hotter than hell the entire time we were there and our fridge didn't work. The breakfast each morning really wasn't very impressive. They would provide you with eggs and bacon upon request but I would think that should be something that you don't have to ask for. The facilities otherwise are quite nice but it is fairly expensive and if there's anybody in your group who is not in peak physical fitness, you might want to consider something else since the hill you must climb to get to the hotel on a daily basis is challenging to say the least.

This charming little house is beautifully decorated, and with personal care. When I entered, I immediately felt peace and comfort, not to mention the amazing view. The rooms were spotless and homey. The breakfast was fresh and traditional, giving me the feeling of a well rounded Swiss experience. Susanna and the rest of the staff worked tirelessly to ensure that we had a memorable stay. It brought me to tears when we had to leave for our next location, because hotel Cathrin has stolen my heart. My friends and I agree that it was the highlight of our whole trip.

Bruno and his team are AWESOME!!! This is the second year in a row that my husband and I have come…read moreto Adelboden to snowboard and we've used snowboard instructors from Bruno's snowboard school both years. Bruno is extremely knowledgeable about snowboarding and incredibly passionate. His shop is well-stocked with awesome boards and all the gear you need to hit the slopes or to sit by the fire. He also recently got step in bindings, which is super cool. He will even order boards for you, and you can "try before you buy" in case you don't like a board as much as you thought you would, and there's also the ability to rent equipment. He's easy-going and relaxed but he really knows his stuff, and he truly cares about his customers and his intstructors. Last year we worked with Nicole and Dimitri who did an awesome job. This year we had lessons with Andy, Gaitano, and Butz, and all of them were also fantastic. Just like Bruno, the instructors are passionate about snowboarding, very skilled and talented riders, and great teachers. They do a wonderful job explaining things and teaching to kids and adults of any level. Last year I broke my tailbone on my second day of a two week trip and they were able to help me ride safely with my injury. My husband progressed much faster than I did due to my injury, and they had no problem with adapting to our different skill levels this year when I essentially had to start at the beginning. The instructors practice safe riding and really tailor to your skill level, and whenever I was scared, they could easily talk me off the ledge. You can tell it's obvious they love what they do and they have a blast doing it. Their bright, neon green 'uniforms" make them easy to find on the mountain which is nice. Bruno and his team are seriously the best. Everyone's English is also really impressive; they also all speak German and many speak other languages as well. Whether you're an advanced snowboarder or you've never seen powder in your life, if you want to have an awesome time and work on your skills, Bruno and his team at Crazy Sports Ltd. are the best out there and we will definitely keep coming back!

There were goats and cows everywhere and they even came by for pets. Then, I see a Volkswagen dealership and Rugenbrau in the middle of the countryside. I walk in to see what it is and it happens to be a brewery which I thought sounded familiar because it was a new beer I tried from the CO-OP supermarket the night before. Inside, not only did they have their brewed beer, but they making everything from whiskey to gin and wine and champagne, they make it all. GET THE BEER TASTING and if you can take more, try the SPIRITS TASTING as well. It was an amazing tasting experience. There was 1 server and she could understand English if you talk slowly and clearly. The beers are all made from maize or corn because that is prevalent in the area, you won't find much wheat beer etc. Not only was the beer and spirits tasting pack with amazing flavor, but the price was to die for. I ended up buying a small bottle of their gin and whiskey because it tasted so great. THEY USE GLACIER WATER from the mountains to make all their products which is cool also. They also do brewery tours at 4PM and they open up their cafe/restaurant during the brewery tours. We came early because we didn't even know about this brewery haha. They gladly gave us personal tasting menus, but we were too early for the brewery tour. When I paid for everything, the lady gave me a free keychain and landyard!
