Great location too, close to Playmobil. The female owner was especially nice to us during our stay. We decided to come back again this year and stay two (2) days. Again, the staff were great. Even the female owner recognized my wife from last year. We "borrowed" two (2) Playmobil sets that the front desk person gave us. She told us to return it once we leave. Long story short, the night before our check out there was a new desk person, a male. He ended up being the owner as well (husband). This male owner never acknowledged us as we were in and out of the hotel several times during that night and into the next day. He just sat at the desk and stared at the computer as we entered. So, the morning comes when we will depart and on our way to breakfast, my wife returns the 2 Playmobil sets to him. He comes up to my wife at breakfast and is basically yelling at her stating that there are pieces missing. Mind you, there was no checklist for items contained in those boxes and these are kids, they lose things. I even noticed several pieces missing too, but I paid no attention to it. Advice to the hotel, if you want to have an issue with who you lend these items to, then make a checklist. Anyway, I was upset that he talked to my wife that way, so I confronted him. He said he was going to call the police and I told him to go ahead. He then stated that we would have to pay 11.90 Euro for each of the sets. Bottom line, we got into a shouting match. This "owner" had to be held back by his wife and another employee there. The wife sincerely apologized after, but that was it for me. We went to look for the "missing" pieces, but never found them. The female owner also said we did not have to pay for the items. Anyway, if you want a great hotel for kids while at Playmobil, go here. But stay away from the male owner, as he has major issues. Unfortunately, not coming back here again, which is a shame because it was a great hotel.

We booked using Priceline and paid for the room online ahead of time using my Priceline credit card. She sent a message the night of our one night stay that she had no record of our payment for that night. I had shared a receipt from Priceline and screenshot of my credit card statement showing the payment. She insisted that we had not paid. She said that we must pay by 8 am the next morning. We were planning on leaving before 8, but we waited until 8:15 for someone to show up, so we could settle the issue, but no one did. So we left our key and left to continue our trip. I called a few days later. The person threatened us with a police report if we did not pay. Her tone was rude and she kept interrupting and insisting that we were lying. I re-sent the receipt and credit card statement as proof of payment, and informed her that the issue was between her and Priceline. There was no reason for her to treat us so rudely and to ignore the information we were sharing with her. In addition, the room was not very clean or comfortable, the shower was too small and did not drain properly. Even worse was how noisy the room was facing a busy street with truck traffic most of the night, and the bed was not very comfortable. I suggest people avoid this hotel.

The room had a green and wood theme. The bed was comfortable and I had no issues. They have a great TV guide just underneath the TV that lists channels by language. The breakfast (included in room) was filling. There were at least 10 different types of teas, cereal, juices, a meat & cheese tray, and yogurt. The dining area was large as well.

They have free wifi and free breakfast, which was good. Parking was a bit...interesting. There's not many places to eat around here so we ended up walking around 1 kilometer each way to dinner. Still, the breakfast was pretty good, but I'd recommend getting there a little early- an hour before it ended, they were almost out of some things. Overall I was happy with this place and would stay here again.
